Great class and a great professor. Mitch is super laid back and really understanding. I'd take him again for any marketing class he teaches. Project and reading are a good amount of work, but he is a very fair grader. All in all, take Wolf and you won't regret it.

very cool guy. the project is a good amount of work and he doesn't really explain it, but if you do the work it's almost impossible to get an A. 7 quizzes drop 2, a midterm, final, and the project. he's a cool guy, a bit cocky, but a fair grader and he makes the class easy for his students. take him for sure if you can.

He is extremely unclear on what is going to be on the midterm and Final which are both 25% of your grade. He will lecture for days then you may give a presentation or two worth nothing towards your grade. Maybe half of the lecture was on the tests the others were straight from the book. It is awesome that the work you do in class he grades fairly easy on which is motivating to to work hard on. But after studying for an entire week for the midterm to only get a 70 made the class very unmotivating. Makes you feel like you know the material but probably to lazy to make his own questions on what he went over and uses the books test questions. I wouldn't recommend him unless you are an awesome test taker.

Wolf/Bus 346 is okay. He's a pretty cocky guy, not too approachable, but overall he's still pretty nice and there's definitely worse professors out there. He's not very organized and he gives out the vaguest of directions, just make sure to keep asking questions in class about his projects so he clarifies. There are times where he will say on the prompt that the project should be so and so but when you ask in class he'll say you don't have to do that part The class is pretty simple. Group projects every other week (just a simple powerpoint presentation, not too time consuming). If he's lecturing, you don't have to go to class. He'll just ramble. Just read the book (actually do the reading, its not too long) and you're guaranteed an A in the class because he doesn't grade projects all too hard.

Wolf is easy as long as you have a good group. His entire class is a jumbled mess of marketing projects that he doesn't really help you with. Do good on the projects, do good in the class. Aslo definitely do value pule, its easy and doesn't take much time. The midterm and final are the same format AS LONG AS YOU DO THE READING you are fine. Don't do the reading dont do well on the tests. Other than that he could kinda care less about actual teaching but he has a lot of cool real world stories. Class is pretty easy otherwise.

At first, I wasn't sure about him. He uses power points and lectures without a break and sometimes it gets really old. BUT he is a nice guy and as long as you sit up front and participate, he'll like you. Just make sure he knows your name and maybe go to office hours and you'll get almost perfect grades on the presentations. He has a lot of life stories and is pretty interesting. Go over the slides for the tests. There is only a midterm and a final and few weekly assignments in addition to the presentations.

Pretty cool guy, very smart. seems kind of intimidating due to his personality, but he is actually very easy to approach and talk to. The midterm was hard as hell and everyone failed, but the class was mostly made up of two projects. We were given the template to do the projects, and you present in front of him only for the final project. Its pretty easy, and as long as you do the work you should be able to get an A.

Didn't read the book for the first midterm, got a D. Read only the end of chapter vocab words for the final, got a 98%. The rest is busy work.

Professor Wolf is a cool guy. He definitely knows what he is talking about and he brings a lot of his personal experience in the field. However, when he is lecturing, it is pretty much just powerpoint slides. That part of the class was okay... pretty dry. But overall 346 is an interesting class. And if you take it with Wolf, you will definitely get a lot of hands-on experience with group projects. As long as you have a good idea and ask him for his input, you will be set. Oh and group members matter as well, make sure you everyone does their work.

Not really sure how this guy has such fantastic reviews. His tests are super easy, and his lectures are just powerpoints, nothing special. The projects in this class are brutal, and my group spent a good 15-25 hours per presentation (about 3 per quarter), almost all of which was busy work doing surveys and analyzing a website that he is trying to develop.

Wolf is a very knowledgeable teacher in the field of marketing. However he basically only reads the information off of the powerpoint which defeats the purpose of teaching. He is also not completely clear on assignments so make sure to ask him a lot of questions about it. Also, make sure you follow his instructions perfectly for the projects and your pretty much guaranteed a good grade on them. Overall good class.

Highly recommend this class! Wolf is super easy, and basically just lectures on powerpoints every class which he then posts online. Most of your grade is made up of group projects which he is super easy at grading. Only one midterm (all multiple choice) and a final. Take this class if you want a GPA booster!

His tests are ridiculous and with his new additional final (apparently he didn't used to have one), it is almost impossible to get an A. For the record, he is a pretty cool, but he is a relatively poor professor.

Mitch is awesome. He is a cool guy and teaches you material that you can actually use in life, even if you are not a marketing major. He focuses on entrepreneurial material and makes marketing material useful. His midterm and final were a little rough and the projects are very time consuming but fairly easy. He does curve which helps but just study for that first midterm cause it is difficult. All-in-all, this course is by far the best Bus 346 course.

Let me preface this evaluation by saying i'm not a marketing major. Before taking the class I had some interest in how marketing worked but after the bad taste this class left with me i'm happy I don't ever have to take another marketing class. First, Wolf himself doesn't do all too much. The class is structured pretty straightforward with a 50 question midterm and final, both worth 20% of your grade. The remaining 60% is where it gets tricky because to be honest a lot of this course hinges on luck. If you get a good group, you will find the group projects manageable but if you don't it can make the class a nightmare. Another thing which really bugged me was his preference towards girls and it's pretty obvious he favors them which can be pretty unfair if you get stuck in an all male group (groups are assigned). The instructions for the projects were vague and while he encouraged us to email him for questions, all the times I did I got less than helpful responses. The actual class time is, well, not really necessary. If I had to define this class in one word it would be filler. Wolf just reads off the powerpoints and you can tell he really tries to draw them out just to fill the two hour block. Last week, he literally spent 30 minutes reading to the class all the black Friday ad inserts while the class died of boredom. The class reflects the book which quite frankly, sucks. The chapters are full of vocab words which is really all you need to know and about half of them are either made up terms no one actually uses or common sense (do we really have to define learning??). This class was a pain mostly because of the laborious group projects, how he plays favorites, and the boring boring subject matter. If you are taking 346, I would suggest a different teacher if you can. I think a 2.9 is far too generous, I would give Wolf between 1-2.

This is an introductory business support class, that's taught accordingly. It's pretty straight forward: you can either attend class and pay close attention, or skip class and read the book. Either way, the midterm and final are do-able. However, the real points in the class are in the quarter-long group projects. Plan to meet frequently!! Suggestion: get started on the projects early (especially product design before finals week). Although his directions are vague, as mentioned below, if you follow every bullet and show him your progress ahead of time, there's no reason you won't get an A on both the projects.

Mitch Wolf is not all that bad of a professor. When he talks about stuff he cares about he can actually be interesting, but that is also information he doesn't test on so then it becomes a waste of time. Tests are super easy, and the projects take a lot of time but aren't that bad.

Mitch Wolf definitely plays favorites. So like some of the other evaluations already said- sit up front, participate in class, go to office hours, compliment him, do whatever the heck you think is going to give you an edge in his biased grading. Projects suck and are just b.s. busy work, power point lectures are boring (but you get to watch a lot of commercials on YouTube), and Wolf is what I like to call a cockalorum, look it up it's a real word but I will save you some time, it means he has what most people refer to as "small man syndrome". My group called this guy out on his grading because he took our 100 point project down from an A to a B because we didn't use power point (it didn't say anywhere in the assignment description we had to use power point and he actually gave us a 96 then took off 10 points to really give us an 86...wtf right!?) then he got all ass hurt and defensive when we brought it to his attention and didn't want to give us even a couple points back. I heard his wife is super cool though.

Wolf is not a bad teacher, he really knows his stuff, but honestly some things ticked me off. Took 10 points off our project for using more descriptive paragraphs instead of simpler bullet points. Oh well. The tests weren't that difficult if you studied a little bit, I studied a max of 1 hour for each. The projects are a little annoying, especially since the first consisted of doing research for his wife, which was boring as shit. The second was cool cause you made your own product and had to make a plan for it. Overall, I'd say he's a decent teacher, but given the choice between him and Dobson (who I have this quarter for BUS 215), I'd go Dobson all the way.

Wolf is very smart, and knows his stuff when it comes to marketing. The class itself though is pretty basic, and you're better off just reading the book and only showing up to class on the days that you must present or take a test. He lectures from a Power Point presentation from the book publisher. The tests don't really follow his lectures at all though, and you are much better off if you study straight from the book. The course is primarily made up of the 2 group projects that you have to do. You will have to meet up often and it is a lot of work. He is a lenient grader on the projects though, so don't screw up the midterm/final and you should get a good grade in this course.

prof Wolf is one of the best prof i have ever had. his midterm was takehome and his final consisted of 50 question that he had given us on quizes (word-for-word!). he is a teacher that is more concerned with his students learning something, rather than stumping them with unnecessarily difficult tests. this is the only class that i feel was easy and i actually learned something, his teaching technique and philosophy was perfect! take prof wolf if you can.

Wolf is a boss. He's a super smart guy and has a ton of real world experience. He is there to help the students. His class consisted of a few group case studies which you submitted as only a few powerpoint slides and then a big wine project. The class was not too much work and I would definitely recommend taking him.

This class is awesome! First of all, there are no tests. The midterm is a paper, and the final is a final project that you present a week before finals. There are weekly summaries you hand in that you write on articles, and there are cases that you make a powerpoint about with your group. He picks like two groups to present each case but our group got lucky and never ended up presenting! The main project is about wine which is actually super cool because I knew nothing about wine, except he asks a lot of questions about the wine we like and such even though many of us aren't even 21 (I was 18 haha). He also owns the Blaze so he will give you free coupons, added bonus! But overall this class is the best and was one of my most fun, definitely take Wolf!

This class is an easy, fun class to take if you're taking a full 16 units. The workload was nearly nonexistent. There was assignments due every Monday and Wednesday. The Monday assignment (a wall street journal summary) took about 15 minutes and was presented weekly. I got lucky and never had to present mine. The Wednesday assignment (a case study on a powerpoint) takes about 30 minutes if you have a good group that divides work well. Some groups present that every week. The midterm is just an essay that is an easy A if you answer every question in detail- it's all pretty laid out for you. The whole final project is focused on wine, which I enjoyed since I'm interested in the wine industry. Although being lectured was boring, whole class conversations about Bitcoin, advertising, and wine were fun and interesting. Also, you may be in for some free Blaze coupons since Wolf is a franchisee of Blaze Pizza. Overall, take this class. Easy international business class and easy A.

The guy has terrible dementia. Every class he asked us if we tried Beyond Burgers, and what we thought about it. Every class. He could not remember which groups that had presented in class and often picked the same person/groups to present over and over again. He speaks more about himself than about actual international marketing. He likes coming up with "fun knowledge regarding different cultures," but a lot of it is not true, and ends up just being judgemental opinions.

Mitch team taught this class with Tom Stenovec and it was one of my favorite and most informative classes I've had at Poly. They teach from years of experience and cut through the crap. The project was a lot of work, but very interesting and fun. I really learned more applicable data in this class than any class I've had so far because they tell you how it really is in the industry, not how the book says it is. Take this class with them (or just Mitch) if at all possible, it was great!

Overall this class was not too bad. The bulk of the work is done in a group project (Worked out to be like 75% of your final grade). The group project involves three powerpoint presentations over the course of the quarter. These are just practice presentations where he tells you what needs to improve. Extremely easy grader and the presentations are easy to do (just read powerpoints off a computer in front of the class). He has three multiple choice quizzes which are 15% of the grade. The questions on the quizzes are worded really weird and dont worry too much if you average 70% on those. The group work is where you need to make sure everyone is on top of their shit. Overall, fairly easy class and good professor who is really laid back.

Seriously, I felt like I gained stupidity during the course. We gave the same presentation all quarter and for the final grade had to copy down the numbers he wanted. That was it. I failed every quiz, slept through class, and gave a half ass presentation. I still got an A. I paid for more than this in an education.

When asking a question Mitch will look at you cock eyed using his body language to let you know that he is right and your wrong. Mitch made it difficult for me to participate in lecture because of his Mr. Know-it all personality. Another thing that drove me crazy was how cocky he is about his dam Taco Bells he owns and all his fortune. This female favoring teacher can teach well only if you can over look his ego. Sorry Mr. Wannabe Omniscient, but I call them like I see them you suck! Note: Its not a hard class go get a good grade

Mitch is very cocky. He thinks he knows everything and always has to have the last word to anyting you say. He never lets the student be right, no matter if they are or not. He is very cocky about his Taco Bells and his other business' and basically talks about them all the time. The class was really easy, just a few case reports, and the final business plan paper which really isn't much work. You basically just show up to class every once in awhile and do the assigments and pretend you are interested in the boring powerpoint lectures. This class is more of a marketing class than anything else. I leanred nothing about managing and running a small business, as one would think by the title. It sucks that Mitch is the only option for management majors to take for this required class. Have fun!

Mitch is a cool guy with real world experience, but his directions are horrible. Well actually he doesn't give directions. It's frustrating as a student because you want to get the project done right the first time but he doesn't explain want he wants. So basically you redo things two and three times until he is happy with it and when it's done you still won't know what he actually wanted from the start. Make sure you pick a good group and a good venture idea because you will be spending a lot of time with them. The whole class is creating a business plan for your venture. No tests and no case studies. Some days he will only meet with groups so you might only have to show up for 15 minutes. I recommend this class to anyone and I definitely recommend taking it with Mitch, but make sure you understand that you will be frustrated with his lack of explanations and directions.

The final presentation will be your entire grade, so be sure to really commit yourself to the slides as you progress throughout the quarter. Also, be sure to get a dedicated team with a variety of skills--otherwise the course will be challenging. Wolf knows his stuff through personal experience and will offer honest and sound advice. He has a lot of experience with marketing and opening his own businesses, so be sure to take advantage of his knowledge. He is easy to talk to, lectures are easy to get through, and the presentations are pretty casual. No papers, no tests, no final, just the project--so be ready to commit yourself to that. Ties all business aspects together. Great Class!

He is NOT a good teacher. He may have lots of knowledge and real world experience but save your tuition money for someone who actually wants to teach you about planning and managing a new venture... not assigning you a start-up business that actually belongs to one of his friends and making you work on it all quarter. Oh, did I mention you have to do 3 presentations that will all be part of your final presentation? He talks about his experiences all throughout class... with no break. He's boring. Take a different elective.
