Pompa might be cool in 400 level classes, but the guy is a dick in 101. He turns the easy 101 class into something difficult. Constant changes in the schedule, broad questions with specific answers on tests (fill in the blank), and boring lectures. I got a B and did what would be considered "A" work in any other class. For Pete's sake it is AGB 101. I am starting my 4th year and this class was by far the dumbest. At the root of this, POOR LEADERSHIP

Pompa was fun and nice. We were expected to remember alot of notes which became hard. The papers we did were interesting but the class required more busy work than it should have for being an intro class.

You would be a fool not to take Pompa if given the opportunity. His class is significantly easier than the section Doub teaches. Class runs for only an hour (hour and fifteen MAX) of the two hour scheduled time. Plus, he's a nice guy. One easy midterm, two papers (2-4 pages), and one presentation (group) that you hand in a 4-6 page paper on. Seriously, take Pompa.

Pompa's classes usually last about an hour to an hour and half. Be sure to come to class because he does take attendance and gives points to the people that come to class

Pompa is a nice guy. Hey let us out of class early mostly everyday. The workload is not bad at all. A couple of papers, a presentation, a midterm, and a final. I found the material to be very interesting. I actually learned a thing or two in this class that I would use in my future career. He is big with handouts and loves overheads. Take this guy, he's not bad at all.

This class at first looked like it was going to be a lot of work. We had 2 midterms and a final, multiple short papers, and a group project. As the quarter started however he knocked off a midterm and a couple papers. In the end we wrote our group project paper (10 pages) with presentation, a 2 page reaction paper, and a 1 page paper. They were all pretty easy and I don't like to write. As for the midterm and the final 50 mc questions with some TF mixed in and about 10 fill in the blank. If you go to class and sorta read the book you will do fine. The class lecture is not to bad and gets out early almost everyday. Recommend taking the class with Pompa.

Anyone that is stressing about your Sr. Project, take Pompa! Not many people know that you can take Mr. Pompa as your senior project advisor. He is great, gives you good ideas, and is an easy grader. I felt that my sr. project was not that great, I didn't spend a lot of time on it, instead I was enjoying my last quarter at Cal Poly, and I ended up with a good grade!
