This guy knows his stuff, and he gives good examples. He has improved a lot since I had him for CPE 259 lab. He gives a fair amount of homework though.

Dr. Scheiman presents excellent material in this class in an understandable format. His examples are real world. While the homework and labs do require a great deal of time, they enforce the lecture material well. This was one of the only 9am classes I haven't fallen asleep in!

Basically, this guys a player. I took him for csc 315 and for cpe 319, and he kicked ass and took names all qtr long, both qtrs. The classes are very straightforward, and the grading is very fair. He assigns a good amount of work, but he doesn't overload you. Great guy, good teacher.
