Oh my god what a terrible terrible experience.

The man is a bit on the strange side but real nice. He makes it a point to have his class average is 70%, I have heard rumors that he will write a difficult final to drop the average. If you don't think you are smarter than most of the class then there are better teachers for you.

I liked his "learn by experiment" attitude and all of his exercises were clear and made me understand the topic.. He is very helpful at his office hours and during the class. Note to students: His style is easy to get an A in and it is not that challenging of a class compared to other Chem 125 classes.

His classroom presentation of material is straight forward till he brings up abstract questions on test. Also, I feel that he assigns an excess amount of "Busy Work"

Dr Paradis was very kind and tried to make the material as wasy to understand as possible. He challenged the smarter students and helped the students who were struggling and never talked down to anyone.

What the guy/gal below said. Amen. I too took this class and have long since graduated from Poly, but I was cruising Poly Ratings for a kick and thought that I should pipe in and let you know how much of a joke this prof is.
