Started the quarter by stating that most of his polyratings were written by friends and that they were merely joking, however I am not one of those friends and I am not joking when I say that most of the other ratings are accurate representations of this instructor. He was never able to clarify student difficulties and when results in an experiment were not what they were expected to be he was unable to help students figure out their error. He expected way too much out of students on lab reports, graded reports very harshly for menial mistakes or oversights, and never responded to emails/concerns in a timely manner. Additionally, he expected students to complete a regular lab report on top of a final project (consisting of a research presentation, experiment, and separate lab report) within the short window of dead week, with very little guidance (not to mention the fact that he waited till almost the end of the quarter to explain what the project was supposed to be). By far the worst lab instructor I have had to date, and would definitely NOT recommend taking him if at all avoidable.

Nice guy. This guy was decent for the lecture. Kind of understood what he was going over before the labs. His lab final was the worst test I have ever taken! It was way too long and he expected way too much out of you. You won't get the best experience out of taking him.

Great class but terrible instructor. His lectures weren't helpful on any of the in-class assignments, and his exams tested us on the minute details. Furthermore, I personally think he's a pervert. He was always more "friendly" with the female students in the class and made them feel uncomfortable at times. He also physically tortured us by throwing chairs at us when we answered a question incorrectly. Furthermore, he threatened his students to give him good polyratings or else he would fail them right away. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
