This is a great class to take if you have a ton of work in other classes, paying attention in this class is nearly impossible due to the subject matter so I just used it as a study hour. And that is ok! Because there are no tests in this class. Only a take home final, 4 500 word essays, a class blog, and a project. For a C4 this class is a complete joke. For a CM major who could could care less about a humanities class it was the perfect class to take and its nearly impossible to get less than a B. Overall, highly recommend as a C4 GE.

Anna Is one of my favorite teachers of all time. She is bubbly, enthusiastic, aware that we are college students, and works with her students to create the best class possible. The class is super easy and you won't regret taking it at all! My only complaint is the time the class is offered but thats not her fault. Absolutely love Anna.

Honestly I came into this class expecting to like this class or even be remotely interested in it. For a GE, this class is a ridiculous amount of work. You have to read 4 novels, write 4 papers on them, attend almost every class, post on a blog and comment 35 times, make a final presentation that required about 8-10 hours of work and write an 8 page paper for the final. The final is just ridiculous, and the prompts are actually quite difficult and require in-depth articulation and analysis of all of the material covered over the quarter. Seriously, this class is just way more than I bargained for and I wish I didn't trust her other polyratings because this stress could have been very easily avoided.
