Class with professor moon is what college is about. This is not a homework intensive class - about 4 articles to read/skim before class to participate in an hour and a half of lecture/discussion/debate. Honestly, this is a great class and a great professor if you like to talk about real issues facing consumers, businesses, the environment, and other things of that nature. Everything is a giant discussion. The class has no tests. Only two papers, a quick writeup of an activity, and a group class - lead (ie. teaching class for an hour). Take it for a relatively easy A and a great time. You won't want to miss class.

ISLA 303. (I couldn't pick the class for some reason so I picked LS) I've been at cal poly for 5 years and I must say Mr. Moon's ISLA class was one of my favorite GE. I learned the most I have in any GE and did the lease amount of take home work. You get to watch black mirror and talk about it in class a long with many other factors on how technology effects human culture and the future. A must take, he's the boi!

Dude is a great guy class is actually under ISLA 303 just not an option on polyratings. Three reasonable essays and a group project make up your grade. Class is all about good conversation

I actually had him for ISLA 303 but didn't have the option to select that course. Dr. Moon is a very interesting professor. His lectures can seem somewhat repetitive, but it is because the topic he addresses consists of various points. Class consists of readings which you talk about during class for a short time. Also, when students speak he respectfully analyzes the response and from then allows the student to expand. Lastly, the work load is very reasonable. No homework, a few writing assignments, and a group presentation. I would definitely take a class with Dr. Moon.
