Maybe one of the easiest classes I've taken in cob. Raja is a laid back professor and wants everyone to pass with a good grade. 2 midterms w/ 50 MC questions and 4 quizzes w/ 10 MC questions. Quizlet is gold and word for word for midterms and quizzes. I'll take my A now, thanks brother.

Well, I truly don't know what the guy before this is talking about. Raja was very nice, but this is in no way an 'easy' class. Halfway through the quarter, Raja announced that 50% in the class was the fail line... meaning that there were people below 50% and that a 70% meant you were doing pretty well. I came through with an A, but it was not easily earned. He gave open-book and open-note quizzes, but that just meant that when he asked for free response, he graded it much harder. I previously new most of the content that was covered in this course due to a past job and it was still difficult. I got a 20% on a portion of my midterm just because of a small calculation error (which he recognized and still didn't budge helping, even though that the rest of the entire problem was correct). Raja wants you to succeed and is very helpful, but don't plan on getting a top lecturer with this class. It is slow, unorganized, and sometimes hard to understand. Good luck! and most of the quizzes and midterms are made up dominantly of free response work, very minimal multiple choice CONTRARY of what the previous person indicated.

This class is so rushed! Raja is a nice professor and attempts at making the lectures more interesting. However, sometimes it's just too disorganized. Timed quiz every week, problem sets due every week, too.

Where to start... Raja is a really nice, genuine, awesome PERSON. But he is not a good PROFESSOR. Terrible communication as to what he wants from the students on projects and is even bad at communicating due dates and the like. He wants his students to succeed and is approachable, but I would not recomend him to anyone
