McCroskey, Linda  

This is a lame site. The comments are statistically insignificant. Most comments lack basic grammar and spelling skills.

I advise anybody that needs to take any speech class to try and get Dr. McCrosky.

I have to disagree with the previous evaluations of this professor. She is VERY boring in her lectures. All she does is lecture about stuff that's obvious in the text. Watch out for her DIFFICULT midterms!

I recommend to anyone who has to take Speech to take Dr. McCroskey. She does a lot of group activities as well as group quizzes, which I like better than individual assignments. She grades fairly and I didn't think her midterm was all that difficult.

She lectures on stuff right out of the book,if you argue about stuff that is clearly right, she will refute by saying that the author of the book thinks differently... Her midterms were way to tricky for a basic speech class, but have no fear, you can do well if you learn to think like her and the text, rather than logically!!

I definitely recommend anyone who wants a great professor for Spc to choose Dr. McCroskey. She is so down to earth and great to talk to. Her class is fun when she tells her many stories.

I had her at csulb and she was great.

What the guy/gal below said. Amen. I too took this class and have long since graduated from Poly, but I was cruising Poly Ratings for a kick and thought that I should pipe in and let you know how much of a joke this prof is.
