Okay, so this is a ONE credit, CR/NC class. I took it because I wanted to know more about different health professions, and because it was one credit and cr/nc I thought it wouldn't matter if I took it this quarter because there wouldn't be much homework, if any. I was told that you just basically have to show up to the classes and you'll pass. NOT TRUE. Obviously, there wasn't an extreme amount of homework, but there were readings and online homework due every week, an interview that you have to go find someone in the community to talk to then write about it, and a final paper. I'm not saying that it was an unmanageable amount of work, obviously it wasn't bad compared to other classes, but it was just a pain in the ass when I thought originally that the class wasn't going to take up much time outside of class. I'd rather people know what they're getting into. Krisi as a teacher is fine, there were a lot of technical difficulties, but that happens. She didn't speak that often and the guest speakers were very informational.
