IME 327 is basically an applied statistics class in manufacturing engineering. It felt like another math class but it proved to be relevant in different situations. Professor Wang is a decent professor at best but has a noticeable accent and speaks softly and slowly. When he presented material time felt like it slowed down. But what he lacks in presentation and speaking skills he more than makes up for in a simply structured class (focusing more on words and concepts than numbers, equations, and calculations) and a genuine care for those who seek help. It was also his first quarter teaching at Poly so I'll cut him some slack.

Dr. Wang is the homie!! His class is structured where you do problems in class and then the homework is just different problems in class. If you pay attention in lab the homework is pretty strait forward. For test it is strait off his lecture slides and he does a review the class before which is super helpful!! All the learning really stems from the project you do which is actually pretty fun. Wang is super friendly and presents the material in a pretty strait forward way.
