Sensei is a good guy. Coming from a shitty 101 teacher, he was light years better. His dog Milton always comes to office hours and he's awesome. He does have pretty high standards, but he will teach you everything that you need to know, and prepares you very well for the common final. His mid-term was a bitch. He's just generally kind of funny sometimes because of his Japaneseness, but he's plenty easy to understand. And he will get to know all of the names of his students which is a nice change. Do be careful with the Non-Collaboration, some friends of mine got flagged at the end of the year and received a zero on one of their assignments for it.

Sensei is the best. I had him last year for 102 and originally I had my doubts because he was new to teaching and Cal Poly, but I learned so much from him. He gives guidance but doesn't spoon feed answers. He is very knowledgable and actually cares about his students and knew everyone's names.

It was Sueda's first quarter here so things were a bit rough in the beginning but man he learned fast. By week 3 he had adjusted to how poly works and modded his class to encompass that. He was a researcher at Disney prior to coming here so he has a very high standard for students. That being said his teaching is top notch for sure. We used the most recent OpenGL and C++ 11 when we could and, as a result, made a lot of really cool projects with his guidance. He's pretty easy to talk to in office hours and answers questions in depth in class. He can be a bit confused at times, but that will go away with time. Definitely take Sueda if you get the chance.
