Krishnan, Hill  

It's only my first quarter here at Poly, and I can honestly say I know that Dr. Krishnan will always be one of my favorite professors. There are just so many great things I could say about this man. First off, he really knows his stuff and how to present it all in a way that will stick with you. He just wants all of his students to participate during class discussions, which by the way are almost always very interesting. He is someone who genuinely cares about his students and is always willing to help someone improve. He is just so inspirational and believes that everyone has the potential to do great things.

After only having him for one course, Krishnan is already one of my favorite professors here at Poly. He knows just about everything, but is able to make the students learn it as well. He comes in prepared for every class and keeps the grading very simple and structured. I promise you will not regret taking one of his classes.

Best professor I've had at Cal Poly! Extremely positive and creates an environment in class where everyone feels comfortable talking. He also teaches in way that really helps you retain the information. I've learned more in classes than I have in any other class at Cal Poly.

Having had Professor Krishnan for my first 2 quarters at Cal Poly I am can honestly say he's the best professor I've had. He knows just about anything, and with the amount of experience and knowledge he brings to his discussions it's evident. He is one of the most inspirational people I've met in my life and his perseverance in his teaching and in life is awe-inspiring.

Dr. Krishnan is the best professor that I have had at Cal Poly. His lectures are very interesting and it is very clear that he is very knowledgable in his field. He cares a lot about his student and is willing to go above and beyond if you are not doing well. There is a midterm report that he walks you through which leads to the final report for the same research project along with a final. He is very big on participations, there is no way to not talk in his classes.

Krishnan has by far been the best professor i have had during my time here at cal poly. He is very knowledgeable about the subject and presents it to his students in a relatable way that is easy to comprehend and always provides useful examples. He invests his time into us as students and really shows that he cares about us not just a students but as people. His passion is contagious, i often find myself in awe during his class. He has been the only professor iv had at poly that has made class enjoyable and have actually learned more than i ever have. I only wish i could have had Krishnan sooner in my college career. He callenges students in the best was academically, he teaches us about life, and makes material relatable. I always leave his class inspired and motivated, never in my life have i been bummed that a class period was over but Krishnan made that happen for me. If you have the chance to take any class with him i woukd highly encourage it, you wont be dissapointed.

Best professor i have ever had! course load not heavy at all. just one large project broken up and he walks you through it all. its a great class because you can actually put it on a resume that you were able to actually do research. I always leave his class feeling stoked on life becuase he is so inspirational! Definitly take Dr. Ks class!

Professor Krishnan is easily one of the most interesting people I've ever met, let alone the best professor I have ever had. He's also a genuine, cultured and inspiring asset to the Political Science department. This guy actually finds a way to make all students comfortable enough to participate in class and keeps the attention of students for much longer than most professors do, during which you'll learn a lot of valuable info that is used as examples. If you aren't already convinced, a very large group of students have started a petition to keep Krishnan on for next year after he was not offered a permanent position.

Dr. Krishnan was new to Cal Poly this year. He easily became my favorite teacher I have every had. I would go as far as to say he has become my new life role model. As far as his class goes, I would highly recommend it to anybody, not just POLS students. His discussions are entertaining and he only calls on you if you volunteer. The class consists of participation (25%), mid term (25%), presentation on a book (25%) and a final (25%). He presents material with enthusiasm and makes you actually want to learn. As a person, Krishnan is the man! He has such a positive outlook on life and makes you want to be a better person. Take this class!
