I was not at all excited about dealing with an 8:00am GE class, but was pleasantly surprised how much I ended up enjoying myself in this class. The midterms, while there is a lot of material to cover, are all fair with no surprises. Go to lecture, take notes, you'll do fine. It did take a while to get used to her strong Indian accent but I got used to it after a while. She also focuses a little more than necessary on the Caste system, but I guess it hits close to home so don't neglect getting all that information down. Overall, a very fair, enjoyable, engaging class. Definitely recommended!

Most boring class I have ever taken at Cal Poly. Instructor is extremely dry and has a thick accent. Avoid this class/professor at all costs.

I have never disliked a teacher more in my time at Poly. I took this class freshman year and it kept me from having a 4.0 winter quarter. One day I was looking at something on my phone and then all of a sudden she called me out and kicked me and the girl that was sitting next to me out of the class, and then she had one of the 4 in class activities which I got a zero on and ended up preventing me from getting an A in the class. Excuse me, but if I want to use my phone in a 100 person lecture hall for the most useless of all GE's I will. Avoid this teacher at all costs.

Most boring class of my whole entire life but SO easy. Make flashcards and know the vocabulary words and people and you'll get an A on every test. In class assignments will screw you over if you miss but rotate with friends and write each other's names at the top every time.. worked for me
