Kuhn, Kevin  

Kevin is an asshole. His stupid face pisses me off beyond belief. He cancels every Friday class because his dumbass probably doesn't want to get out of bed. The only problem with this is he tells you it's canceled once class is already 10 minutes in. He doesn't know the material. His lectures are just him reading the most generic useless dull notes while his stupid ass face stares at you like a fool. If you're a smart person, you'll get an A but will never be able to recover from the traumatic experience Kevin thrusts upon you. He is an inadequate human being and a waste of oxygen. I can't stress this enough. If you are blocked in, stop drop and roll away from his bullshit. If you are a fucking dumbass who chooses this asshole, then you deserve the pain of putting up with his bullshit.

He is the worst teacher imaginable. He is late every day, never prepared, and cancels class 10 minutes already into it. I have an 8 am class with him and 10 minutes into the class time, we will receive and email saying 'class cancelled', but at that point IM ALREADY THERE. He uses another professors power points and only reads out what he understands from them, which is probably a 1/3 of the power point material. If you ask him for specific help, he does not know how to help you because he barely understands the material. I 10/10 recommend YOU DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, and if you are already blocked into it, I AM SO SORRY. FUCK KEVIN KUHN

What else is there to say? Fine person, nothing interesting. Class was meh... Blah, blah, blah... Fine person.

Professor Kuhn is unhelpful, rude and uninformed on the material at hand. The course is set up in a way that students have no access to any solid or factual information, and only have the notes they took in class. His lectures are horrible. He reads his slides (which basically have no information on them) at a rapid speed and you'll watch about an hour of pointless videos every class. There is no textbook and his power points are never online. This teacher literally says "I don't know" to at least half the questions asked each class…a kid in my class answered the student's question better than the teacher did. His tests are unfair, his quizzes are ridiculous and everything else about this class is AWFUL. Do not take this class. Literally. Don't.

Professor Kuhn is a great teacher and cares about his students doing well in his course. I took this course when it was his first time teaching it, and he made it clear what to expect on each quiz/exam. Even though the lectures had a lot of material, he would make sure to tell the class what would likely be on an exam in order to cut down the study material. As long as you went to class, paid attention, took good notes, there should be no reason why you didn't receive an A. There is no textbook, no papers, no projects. I don't see why the other review is being so harsh. This class is a very easy and entertaining general education course.

Dr. Kuhn is one of the best professors at Cal Poly. He takes his time to really teach each and every student the material required to excel in the field of industrial technology. Be prepared to put in a lot of study time, because his weekly quizzes and group projects are difficult. Just make sure you consistently read the text and take diligent notes in class. If you really want to put in the time and take a worthwhile class, this is the best option for IT 371.

Kevin is the man and probably my favorite professor at cal poly. Really smart dude who's been successful in business. Just sit back and peep game, you will learn a lot.
