416 with Ramirez is a living hell. This class under her should be titled "Public Health and Grant Writing". Although these are important parts of community nutrition, they are not encompassing. She is condescending and if your views do not line up with her's get ready for a long quarter. Even if they do line up, prepare for hell. She writes the worst tests I have experience in 4 years of attending this university. Not in terms of difficulty, she just writes things that make no sense. For example: This program(what program????) attempted to overcome barriers by: a) Using the processes described in the (model example) b) Using the processes described in the (model example) c) Using the processes described in the (model example) d) None of these I don't feel afraid of posting this to the site because not only does it not convey an actual question, it held no context whatsoever. She flies through complicated lectures and threatens the class if they do not perform on poorly written tests and assignments. She teaches through students struggling through bulky readings, assignments, and papers. I've never been more disappointed in our otherwise excellent FSN department for hiring her. At the end of this quarter, the class will be writing a petition to get her fired.
