She made very clear power points to present the material and posted them all on poly learn. she left some missing information in the ones she posed on poly learn to entice kids to come to class and pay attention. All of the midterms were based on her lectures, but the book she used was easy to read and had great summaries. she offered several opportunities for extra credit throughout the quarter. there were very few homework assignments and they all were manageable and interactive, not just relaying information. At the end of the quarter she offered review sessions during office hours. She really wants her students to succeed and actually learn something and enjoy what they are learning. I would definitely recommend her for Physical Geology!!!!

So helpful in office hours. She's a really cool and down to earth person and a good professor. I didn't study for my first midterm and did horrible. I started reviewing the notes and slides and got almost a 100% on the second midterm and final. Not much comes directly out of the book. I would recommend her.

Her lectures are very complete and although most of the material comes from her slideshows, the book goes more in depth which is required to excel on her midterms. She offers a 3% final grade extra credit boost which is pretty easy to do, just requires a few field trips. I never did the reading before class like you're supposed to and I crammed big time before mids and the final, so if you do the reading on time and go to all the lectures this class shouldn't be too bad. She's also quite nice and approachable and always knows what shes talking about.

Follow the lectures to ace the exams. She's really good at explaining things, office hours are good too. Write down the exam questions you missed because they will reappear on the final!

Take her!!! Very clear lectures and explains things simply so you'll understand better. 3 midterms and 1 final. The midterms are fairly easy if you go to lecture every time. Book is not required. She's really approachable and friendly to talk to.

TAKE THIS CLASS: Wydzga is really nice and presents material clearly. You don't neeed to get the book, you'll get a B without it, but will get an A with it if you skim the sections covered in lecture. I would recommend sharing the book with a friend and splitting the rental price. The test Q's come from info covered on lecture, but each test contains about 3 detailed ones from the book. SUPER easy to pass if you go to class, take notes, and review lightly for midterms. No need to study hard for this class, hardly any hw and if there is any it takes less than 45 mins. 3 EC opportunities. 3 midterms, 1 final.

One of my favorite professors my first quarter. You don't even need a book to pass the tests as long as you pay attention and take good notes during her lectures. She is extremely well organized and her lectures are interesting and informative. I got B's on my tests without really studying, so if you put in the effort, an A is easy. She's a very fair grader and is very willing to help students who are struggling. She gives a lot of extra credit and doesn't assign much homework. The class was stress free. Overall a very nice and effective teacher.

She is a really nice teacher who really enjoys this subject and knows what she is talking about. I thought the powerpoints were pretty boring so I basically just relied on the readings to learn the material and reviewed her slides. I didn't do as well on the quizzes as I thought I would have for the amount of time i spent on the reading but since i didnt really listen in class, that might have been why. The quizzes can be a but tricky but its all fair questions. She also gives lots of extra credit and as long as you put in some effort you should do ok.

Aleksandra was a lovely person and a fantastic professor! She was excellent at clarifying concepts that we didn't understand in class and she was also very helpful in her office hours. Her quizzes were super easy and the final was short and consisted of a lot of quiz questions.
