BEST PROFESSOR!!! Super funny and helpful and really understands the struggles college students go through. I learned so much from him and he's honestly the nicest person ever. TAKE THIS CLASS

Dr. M was easily the best physics teacher I've had, and I would definitely take his class (the section I was in was a studio class, so not your typical lab/lecture). He's a chill Greek dude (hence why we call him Dr. M) who makes dumb jokes and has a slight accent, but definitely zero language barrier. He made the hardest class of the general physics series my favorite one. He keeps the class mostly conceptual, which I found helped a lot. No collected HW, but there is assigned online and book homework to help prepare for quizzes. No midterms, but there are weekly quizzes worth 5% of your grade each. Grading breakdown is 50% weekly quizzes, 20% activities (which you're basically guaranteed full credit on), and 30% for the final. Love Dr. M, take his class if you can!

The best physics teacher/professor I've ever had, his class was really interesting and this guy knows physics like the back of his hand. He's easy to talk to, he knows where most people get hung up and his quizzes and homework are always harder than the midterms, so if you can do those, you're set. Really funny guy, has a really american sense of humor for a greek guy, making it all the more funny. In office hours, he'll help you enough where you understand it, but not too much to where he just gives you an example. He also has a cool accent and speaks greek. Definitely recommend his class, too bad he's not teaching 132

Funny Greek guy who knows his physics. We were supposed to have read the section before it was covered in class. During class we would just go through packets that he passed out that basically became our notes. They also included practice problems similar to the homework, quizzes, and exams. Homework was due every monday and usually had a range from easy problems to very difficult ones. Quizzes once a week, easy to do well on them if you followed along and understood the packets. Exams were not that hard compared to the homework. He said that he would curve the class upward but never downward. Turned out that the class did well enough so that there was no curve so my 89 was a B+. Good guy, wants the students to do well, would definitely take his class again

Dr. M is a decent professor but doesn't do a good job making 141 easy to understand. His in-class examples are simple to help you understand the concepts, but when it comes to real problems on the homework, you easily find yourself lost. Dr. M is extremely helpful in office hours and has great sense of humor, but you will need to regularly attend office hours if you expect to do well.

Dr. M genuinely cares about how his students are doing in his class. He will slow down and speed up the pace of the class depending on student difficulties. Also, for his 141 class you use a course reader so you can focus on the material and not trying to copy down notes the whole time. Overall, I would recommend Dr. M.

Dr. M was one of the best professors I have ever had. He presented things clearly and in an organized manor. His homework was balanced and the exams were difficult but nothing inappropriate. He requires a course reader ($7) he put together that has nearly everything written for you already, you just fill in the blanks. Would love to take him again.

Dr. M is easily the best physics professors i had and one of my favorite overall professors. he was incredibly helpful in office hours which were always packed but he works really hard to get around to everyone. he does have a quiz every friday as well as homework due that day but the quizzes aren't super hard and they are helpful for the tests. you have two midterms and a final. both are not too hard. if you didnt take AP/IB physics in high school like me i would definitely take his class because he will help you catch up and keep up with kids who did.

Usually not into teacher evaluations but I have to give Dr M a shoutout. His class is relevant, fair, and truly fun. He has quizzes each week that are completely doable if you keep up to date and the hw doesn't take all that long. His midterms are from things we have discussed in class, though perhaps seen in a little different context. In addition, he is extremely approachable and really does care about the kids he teaches, even making an effort to get to know names. My only complaint is that he wasn't available to teach 132 or 133 this quarter, would love to take him again. 10/10

Dr. M is an awesome professor. He really knows his physics and cares about his students. The only complaint I have about his class is his tests were pretty damn hard. Especially the second midterm.. Get the fucking lube ready and never go in dry. However, he curves the class but you'll still get traumatized after every test. Overall, the best physics professor for 141! 10/10 would recommend

He's a funny professor who explains everything clearly. I especially liked how he summarized everything we learned at the start of each class. The homework didn't take too long but still made you think about the important concepts. He has a course reader, so you can follow along with the lectures and do minimal writing. I definitely want to take him again!

Questionable last name. No question that you should take his class. Excellent professor who is extremely helpful in office hours. Had I studied more for the final, I would've kept my A (I got a B+). TAKE HIM

Missed the first day, went to the second day. Went to the midterm. Went to the Final. Three days of class total. I got a B, easy. This kind of shit gives our school a bad name.
