Maples, Michael  

Mr. Maples is such a sweet man. He's such a nice person, and he genuinely loves the subject. Every single week, he came to class excited about what we were going to be doing in lab that day. He's very helpful and understanding if you have any questions or need something clarified. Compared to what I heard about other BIO 111 lab professors, he made our labs so easy and straightforward and made it really easy for us to do well in the class by giving easy and fun extra assignments to do. For example, one assignment was to visit a monarch butterfly grove in Pismo Beach and sending him an email about what we saw. Overall, it was a really fun and enjoyable quarter.

Fine teacher, but a little dry in the presentation. I wouldnt suggest having her at 8:00 in the morning, might be difficult staying awake.
