Propen, Amy  

Dr. Propen is a really nice person. Her class has mandatory attendance which is kind of a bummer because often times the class feels wasteful (i.e. learning how to graph in MS word or talking about pamphlets in groups). She is an average grader, but this class may have more work than other tech writing classes. we did the ifixit project and wrote a 6-8 page recommendation report and there was a lot of reading in the first half of the quarter and reading quizzed, but the quizzes were really easy and I often got 100% without reading the book. Overall she is nice and the class is totally doable, but you may be able to find an easier teacher.

Propen is a boss. Her class is really boring and pointless, but she is pretty cool and you can tell she is interested and wants us to try to get through it. Also she must have the patience of a saint having to put up with only engineers in a tech communication class, because even I had a hard time with other people's ineptitude. She's really approachable and lays things out well, even though the assignments suck. Easy A and a fun class with her.
