What the guy/gal below said. Amen. I too took this class and have long since graduated from Poly, but I was cruising Poly Ratings for a kick and thought that I should pipe in and let you know how much of a joke this prof is.

Erin is really nice and a good teacher. She really helps out in office hours as well. She is a grad student, and i had her for Bus Calc. she has 2 midterms and a final, weekly quizzes, weekly homework, and weekly extra credit. The quizzes are always just 2 problems worth 10 points and are usually not difficult. Midterms and final are also pretty easy, and make sure you read the instructions at the top because you can get extra credit for just drawing something (usually an animal) that it tells you to. Make sure you do the weekly extra credit because that also helps a lot. She drops the lowest homework and the lowest quiz score. She grades with partial credit which really helps as well. Not too hard of a class really.

We're not even through the quarter but I decided that prof. Kelly could use some evaluations here. Let me start off by saying that Erin Is a fantastic grad student and is a great lecturer for Business Calc. We have weekly quizzes that are so straight forward if you attempted the homework you will easily ace these guys. The extra credit helps a ton and if you try in this class you will do fine. She's a great teacher who truly wants her students to succeed, thanks Erin!

kelly is the cutest. she loves math and wants her students to succeed. the work load is fairly light and the material is easy to understand, especially if you've taken calc before. there are two midterms and weekly 10 minute quizzes on fridays. she also offers weekly extra credit which can really help your grade. if you ask erin a question during the test, she is not bitchy at all and will do everything she can to help you figure it out. shes da bomb, take her for bus calc!
