Homan, Dennis  

He teaches a very hard intro subject, but he supplies a study guide that will for sure help you on the final exams. He is funny and loves to recite poems and jokes about botany. He taught the lecture which was easy but i found out that the lab was harder and is with a different teacher.

This was a great class taught by an excellent professor. Dr. Homan is very interesting and dynamic and shows much passion for the subject. He recites poems he wrote about different aspects of plants--a personal touch I liked. The midterm and final are challenging, but reasonable, I thought; it's not too hard to get an A or B with a decent effort. Funny guy, great prof.

Dr. Homan is a very good teacher and is good at explaining things clearly. He is also very open to student questions, and if you attend the review sessions at the end of every lab, it is very helpful because he goes over the answers with you.

Homan is a bad ass. He has got some great bland humor, plus he's like a human cartoon. About the lab--fun cuz I had friends in it, you could mess around alot. I bet if I cared about botany I would have asked some questions and he would have answered them. Oh yeah I think the only reason I passed was cuz I cheated on the final. But I don't recommend that for the sake of ethics, nor do I recommend buying that big ass book, you really don't need it.
