McDermott, Joe  

Joe is reallllyyyy cool. He is funny, has good style, is young so can relate to students. Also I'm pretty sure he's high a lot of the time. We would always try to get him to tell us stories of him drinking on weekends and stuff. He's really lenient on due dates. There's like 5 essays due for this class and if you can't turn it in on time, just email him before and he doesn't care. The only thing about this class is it's reallly boring. He's a dry lecturer and I found myself never paying attention but to be honest it didn't matter because it never had anything to do with the essays and that was the only thing that counted for a grade in the class :) I would recommend taking him, he's really cool and always lets class out like an hour early

Joe is an interesting professor. His past/current job experience really reflects on how he treats the class and lectures. Formalities are dropped so you can just call him Joe. He's really nice, lenient, and chill. If you need help or something, most of the times he can help out. He grades fair and easy, especially on projects, maybe not so much on individual assignments or papers (or I could've just stunk at those). Compare to the other 149 classes I heard from my friends, this one is definitely the way to go. Great guy.

I learned alot! He's really nice and def treat his students with respect and he's really cool to talk to. I took him a year back but I feel like I should put up a good post on his polylearn. If you can, go take him! He's a really professional teacher, you will learn a thing or two about tech write!
