Veronika doesn't explain clearly what she wants to see on the labs to get full credit. Toward the end of the quarter I decided I would go to her office hours and try to find out why I was only getting 9 or 10 points out of 13 on labs. One day I remember she tells me I needed to write more in depth about a question b/c it was a 4 point question. No where on the lab does it tell you this. There was another lab we had to analyze our data so I did that by looking at the numbers we got. Apparently she wanted us to answer that question through a graph that we were asked to make on the next question. My point is I hadn't even made the graph yet b/c I had not even gotten to that question yet!! Also there are these 3 point quizzes that you have to take to make sure you read the material for the lab each day. These quizzes were pretty easy, at least that's what I thought until I found out half way through the quarter that I was only getting 1 or 2 points. Take Katherine Streder for lab or anyone else for that matter.

Probably the worst lab teacher you will ever have in your entire life. She doesn't give you ANY instruction WHATSOEVER on how you should format your lit review. She expects the HIGHEST QUALITY of work, which would be completely fine, IF SHE ACTUALLY TAUGHT US SOMETHING. Also, she will tell you that you are responsible for telling her if an assignment in the class coincides with a lab assignment, however this is NOT our responsibility as students, as SHE is the TEACHER and should have the common sense to collaborate with the professor teaching the class to ensure that our assignments (which are completely different) aren't overlapping. I feel bad seeing my friends struggle this quarter the same way that everyone in my class last quarter did as well. All the assignments are out of 4 to 6 points, meaning if you miss more than one point (which you will, unless you are Lesiuk herself) you automatically have a B on the assignment. I would have been grateful to learn at least ONE thing in this "lab", unfortunately that never happened and probably never will as long as Lesiuk is teaching it. On the other hand, she is totally nice if you talk to her one-on-one and somewhat helpful, but why should we have to go to her office hours just to learn what she expects of us, when have an hour and a half of lab each week where she has the opportunity to explain things.

Shes not so terrible, but expects a high grade of work. Okay to talk to if you are one on one otherwise hard to understand. Busy lady i understand, but changes office hours weekly, not the best communication. In all good lab instructor depending on lab, and wants us to put in effort, best to just put in effort and talk to her before turning in any assignments to get an A. I liked her but im weird, you might not.

This is the first C I have recieved in my entire life. I hope that says something to all of you out there watching their GPA. Do not take him--this class was a nightmare!
