HE IS AWESOME!!! PERIOD. END OF STORY...

Haynes is a great person and is ALWAYS willing to help. He cares very much about the students and helps them with all aspects of their education. He helps them secure scholarships, tutoring, internships, etc. But, the Engineering Orietation class that he teaches is an absolute joke. It is THE WORST CLASS that i have taken in years. As a matter of fact, i dont think i learned one new thing in this class. It is a gigantic waste of 3 hours a week, not including a book that might has well be called "Common Sense" that he assigns and gives quizes on, and activities in the wee hours of the morning on several saturdays. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLASS TO ANYONE, except if you want to be in the MESA program (MESA requires you to enroll in this class). It will not help you in any way, is a waste of time, and doesnt count towards your degree. If you miss 5th grade and want to be treated like a retard and a child, then take this class!!!!

I think that the teacher for this class was very good. However, the class was horrible!!!!!!!!!! Don't take this class, it's not worth the thime or the effort. We had too many projects and test for a credt/no credit class. Mr. Haynes is a great person, but the class was extremely boring. Having groups was fun, but only if you get lucky and get nice people in your group. The tests were difficult, and covered a few 100 pages of reading each time. It is only a helpfull class if you want to learn where everything is on campus. Otherwise time is better spent sleeping. The teacher was too good for such a pointless class.

I took this class over the summer. I took it with Ernesto Deutsch. It was completely irrelevant to engineering, and they treated us like children. i didn't think that is what college was like. they babied us the whole time. Oh ya i got a NC. Do i really care? NO because its an elective course that will GO no where. This class was a complete waste of time for school. Its a common sense class. Everything you will learn is blatantly obvious. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ON YOUR LIFE! seriously. if you do, you will completely regret it.

In doing a search for my classes next quarter, I came up on this eval on Professor Ernesto Deutsch..it happens I took this same class with the student who bad mouthed him. What can I say? He got a no credit in a class that is nothing but supportive and helpful. Getting a NC says it all. In fact, this jerk has already been DQ

I learned that if I were to take up hunting, I should shoot deer, not bears, because a bear will hunt me back if I successfully wound it. Fascinating! I didnt know that the key to production and operations management was so brutally simple!
