Pande, Anurag  

in the beginning their was 30 plus students in the class but as the time passed it dropped to 11 students in class all mainly failing because he wasn't good at explaining the lecture and he thought everybody know the subject so he wouldn't explain or provide examples. And most of the times he was 10 to even 30 minutes late. do not take him if its your first time getting the subject since he is very difficult to understand and his not good at explaining the material

The material in the class wasn't bad at all, he explains everything very well. First time using MATLAB was difficult but he lets you use all the previous work from the labs to help you with the final. He also lets you make cheat sheets for the midterms and use the same ones on the final. Pande is very helpful in office hours so talk to him if you are having problems. Simple class, just do the homework thoroughly and youll do fine.

Give Pande a break guys, he's really not that bad. He lectured well, the class (Matlab Numerical Analysis or whatever u wanna call it) just SUCKS. Boring ASS material and seems utterly pointless. Plus side, Pande grades pretty easy and the class is 100% straightforward. Unfortunately i heard he and Elghandour (worst teacher at cal poly) are no longer allowed to teach 251 because they "strayed too far from the material". As long as you are spared the teachings of Elghandour all is well, but Pande really isn't bad at all.

Thick Indian accent. The dude could not tell the difference between words starting with V\'s and W\'s to save his life. I had to refrain myself from laughing every time the guy said \"Wertical Curves.\" Anyway, he is a pretty boring professor. The subject is pretty boring anyways. There are 3 midterms (3rd midterm is the final) in the class and they are of medium-high difficulty. He claims that his midterms will look exactly like the homework but then he proceeds on to throw curveballs at you. He is helpful during his office hours though. He isn\'t very enthusiastic about the material. He has pop quizzes to make sure people attend his lectures. Do your homework, show up to every lecture, and pray to god you get at least a B in his class.

This class kinda sucks, just a bunch of formulas and nothing too fun or exciting. He didn't take it too seriously and when I took it, Pande just got to cal poly. I feel like I didn't try very hard but I still got a B. He wasn't a bad teacher at all, and I recommend him, just a boring class overall. Pande is a transportation master though, so i guess it's good I had him for this class

Honestly he gives you a lot of chances to succeed, with 3 midterms and a final(optional) you cant blame him. His accent is hilarious and he has funny one liners. Really helpful in office hours.

Dr. Pande was always a good teacher and has only improved since I started here in 2008. I took his 251, 321, and 322 class with more transportation to come. Don't listen to early reviews (besides thick Indian accent too much? Don't be an engineer, comes with the territory). He is committed to his students' success and anyone can at least pass as long as they show up and do all their work (even most of it) without too much difficulty. In office hours he is patient and a good listener be sure to stop by.

Dr Pande is the kind of teacher who is so nice that you would feel like he is one of your friends. His accent takes some getting-used-to but who cares! Anyway, I had him for CE 251, CE 321 and I enjoyed him both in class and in his office. If you get to know him and he recognizes your difficulty, he will do his best to make you successful in the class. DON'T LISTEN TO THE FUSTRATED PEOPLE who are complaining about him. I came to learn Transpo after interacting with Pande.

Pande is a good teacher. The lab consists mostly of writing lab reports that have you analyzing different transportation aspects. He is a picky grader and expects a lot from his student, but overall is pretty easy. Though the lab is six hours a week, Pande does not mind if you leave early or work on other assignments while in class. He does not give an exams or lab finals which is nice. If given the option, I would take him again.
