She does a little demo and gets straight to the lab, so you get out early and the labs are also pretty easy, she\'ll help you out if you need it. The only problem was she didn\'t tell us clearly that the post-labs are necessary to get full points in the class, it sounded like they were extra credit... so everyone was kind of screwed over from day one.

Absolutely one of the worst professors I have had in my college career. She seems like a nice sweet old lady when you initially meet here, but her class was ridiculous. This was Physics 133, a general ed class that most engineers must take, along with math and physics majors. The entire class is based on one midterm and a final, along with extremely hard quizzes every week. Almost everyone received failing grades for these quizzes initially, but at about week 7, the material became easier so people received better grades. No matter how hard I tried to stay awake in her classes, I always seemed to want to doze off, even though I actually kind of liked the material we were learning. She spends a great majority of her class deriving equations (which she claimed we would never need to know how to regurgitate). So therefore, all the learning had to be taking place at home, doing homework. Unfortunately in her own words, she assigns homework that is much more in depth in the subject than we will nee to know for quizzes an whatnot. Therefore, spending all this time on the homework isn't necessarily going to help you, especially if you focus on the wrong thing. Her midterm and final are ridiculous. She gives you a study guide for it, but it is not very helpful. The study guide is vague (except for the definitions part). I spent an entire week studying for her test, I never missed a day of lecture, and I went to her for help before the midterm, and I still got an F on the midterm. Her grading is also ridiculous. My recommendation would be to focus on the example pages she gives in class for the quizzes midterm and final. The final was more ridiculous than the midterm. The final was not comprehensive at all. In fact, the final pretty much only covered the last two chapters of material we learned. She went over these two chapters in 2 1/2 lectures. Before the test, a student explicitly asked her in class if there was going to be any equations to derive on the final and she said no. Nevertheless, she put two entire pages of derivations on the final, and most likely she justified her choice by claiming that there is a curve in the class. Her curve was mediocre, and her test was unfair and contradictory to what she said would be on it. Overall, I really abhorred this class. She is a very dry teacher, and she attempts to be funny sometimes, but it just comes across as lame and even awkward. She is able to recognize student difficulties, but it is apparent that she does not care. She has the attitude that we should be able to teach ourselves, since that is what we are going to have to be able to do in industry. Well this was an entry level physics course, not a professional job. She never answers emails and office hours are a waste of time. Spare yourself and TAKE A DIFFERENT TEACHER!

One of the best teachers I had so far. She teaches from scratch so if you had no previous knowledge of the subject, you can pick it up really easily. I should have gotten an A but got lazy halfway through the quarter and got a B+ instead.

She may seem nice, but she really does not lecture well. Basically you\'re better off reading the book than going to class. She doesn\'t really answer students\' questions very well either. She\'s probably the worst professor I\'ve had so far.

Kinceloe is a horrible teacher. She does derivations all of class and does NO real life examples. I basically learned nothing. Oh and her tests are all vocab and stupid concept questions that are really confusing. Oh and when she says she won\'t test you on the crazy derivations she does in class, she will! To study basically memorize the vocab list and basic concepts. Otherwise don\'t go to class. I learned absolutely nothing from this class.

Ok, her lectures are very confusing, she just does derivations all class, but....her tests were INCREDIBLY easy. you won\'t learn much in this class, but I would recommend taking her just for the tests. I saw some of the tests my friends with other professors were given, and I had no idea where to start. But Kincheloe\'s test were SO easy. I\'m bad at physics and I got an A in her class. As long as you are ok with reading the book, take her.
