Dr. Lytel, first time teaching lab for this course, and it should be his last. He is a bad at showing and explaining material we need to find or do. He gives you a quiz every week on material that you did or will do. Also, he makes you write 2 lab write ups and a lab notebook. The lab notebook is the same as the lab handbook. You basically re-copy all of the lab handbook on a notebook with pictures. All the work he gives you is useless. His test are very difficult especially the lab final, and yea its comulative. You have to study everything even the genus and species for every Mo\'s(Microrganims) you have seen in lab and also other you havent. He thinks he is superior and thinks he is smart which he seems he is not cuz he always comes back next lab with a wikipedia explanation. You shouldnt take him for lab

Dr. Lytle is one of the best professors anyone could ask for. His lectures are interesting, and he injects his own style of humor and refers to personal experience to help make connections with the material which make the two hours more bearable. He makes himself available and is more than willing to give extra help when necessary. Something that really stood out was, even though the class had somewhere between 90 and 110 students, he got to know your name and could actually carry on personal conversations with many students in the class. This guy actually cares about what he does and isn't here to show off his immense knowledge like others might be (Dr. Brown). The best advice I can give is to hold off on taking ZOO 331 until he is teaching it.

This teacher is very friendly and makes the material easy to understand and enjoyable. He teaches in the order of the text and in a logical order. He includes personal stories that help engrain the material further. He is a very fair grader and if you do the work and go to class, it is an easy A.

You are guaranteed an A if you just take Dr Lytle. I never studied, never bought the book and came to class just most of the time. Take him and you\'ll be happy. Guarantee!!!

Dr. Lytle makes this class really easy. All you have to do is study the lecture notes and his slides and you are guaranteed success. The lab is a piece of cake. He said that the lab practicals are the hardest parts in the class. They are easier than the lecture exams. You just have to study the slides presented in lab, the printouts, and any worksheets. I\'m not even good at memorizing and I did well on these tests. Take Dr. Lytle. He cares about the students and even remembers your name. A+ professor.

Dr. Lytle is a great choice for Zoo 331/332. His lectures and notes are clear and the tests come practically straight from lecture questions. This class is worth its 5 units though. There\'s 2 midterms and a final in lecture. Along with an assignment for each test. In lab there are 2 practicals that stagger the test dates and weekly labs often with reports. So pretty much after week 2 there\'s always some big studying to do for this class (for lab/lecture). But Lytle\'s a pretty good teacher, and I would definitely recommend him or take him again for other subjects.

This class is all about memorizing large volumes of information. The good thing about Lytle is that he tells you pretty much everything you need to know for the exams. He is also the biggest whiner ever. Everyday he complains about at least one thing for a few minutes. Still, he\'s a good professor. He just has an attitude problem.

Wow I read some of the other evaluations and thought to myself did we take the same class. This can't be the same teacher that came to class bitching about how he's tired and tore his shoulder. I'm a bio major. I love anatomy but the thing I hated about Lytle is he doesn't give a crap about teaching. First off if you take this class be prepared to attend every class and take notes on everything he says. He offers no notes on the lecture he posts, no study guides, no pages out of the text book to focus on. He just copy and pastes a bunch of pictures out of the text into powerpoint. The material isn't that bad the thing is he picks and chooses specific things out of the text book then you have to write down everything he says go back to the text book and sort through hundreds of pages to find the topics. This is honestly a great class with interesting material but do yourself a favor and take it with another teacher.

Dr. Lytle was one of the worst teachers I took. I usually love doing anatomy/physiology type labs but this one was frustrating. He is always very paranoid of the class and thinks we are all \"staring\" at him and not doing anything. Minus about 2 people in the entire class, we were all there to learn by doing and woud always have our noses in books and computer programs trying to study. Yet, he would still complain that we were all looking at him. Weird. Also, I was going over the questions that I had missed on a lab practical and he kept telling me to relax, as if I was attacking him or something, however I was just calmly asking him to explain the correct answer to me. Nonetheless, he is very defensive, making it difficult for students to thoroughly learn the subject material without being worried of what he might accuse us of. There was also one day in class where he sent a girl out of the cadaver lab for not being able to identify a piece of the anatomy correctly (and it was the first time we were shown the material). How does he expect us to be able to perfectly identify on a cadaver if we have never seen it? I thought our motto was \"learn by doing\"...
