She is a teacher worth taking, if you have problems she makes sure that you clearly understand before she goes on. She does assign a lot of homework though. Overall a great teacher.

Rebecca is a great teacher!! She explains everything very clearly and makes sure that you understand the material. There ishomework assignments for each section, however they are not required. I highly recommend doing them because we do have hw quizes every Thursday. I found the midterm anf final to be very easy. To study I looked over my notes and all my hw problems, bcause she does put on problems from the lecture notes as well as hw prolems. I highly recomend this teacher as she is greaat!!

Rebecca\'s Teaching methods and clear yet concise explanation of the material was a 100% beneficial in my education. The straightforward grading policies are not curved but she hands out plenty of extra to anyone who\'s not slacking off or missing class. The homework load was NOT heavy as others have said! I personally was in a study session with other 118 students and saw the insane homework problems they were given. Rebecca doesn\'t BS her students with pointless and random questions. Everything she has taught in class I will use, if not already. Finally, her tests are based on homework, which if you do will not be a problem. The people who didn\'t do the homework - Myself Included - didn\'t do well on the final! Simple yet Awesome! That is everything you\'ll need to know about Rebbecca except one very important note. Rebecca Michuad is one of the most fun and adept professors I\'ve ever had and would recommend her to all my friends. This is an opportunity you don\'t want to miss you you get the chance.

She's awesome! Great math teacher and is always willing to help you out. She answers homework questions at the beginning of class, and will go over the test problems that many people got wrong. She's a super nice person too. If you ever have questions, go to her office hours and when you're done check out the pictures of her super cute daughter. I'll probably go back to her office just to say hello and ask how she's doing.

Professor Michaud is energetic and presents the material well. She does teach FAST, so pay attention. Also, she is very helpful during office hours and the tests and quizzes are fairly-written.

Michaud is great. I'm not very good at math, but Michaud made things simple and clear for me and I did well on quizzes and tests. Overall I got all B's, one A, and one C on quizzes and tests. She is everything you could want in a math professor for this class. She goes at a fair pace and always asks the class if anyone needs clarifications, which definitely makes asking questions less intimidating. She is also very helpful in answering specific questions after class. The homework load is fair, and she doesn't collect it every class, so you sometimes have extra time to do the homework. She picks five questions from the homework to grade, so you should do it all; she also drops your lowest homework assignment. The tests are fair as well. For me, her class was one of those things where you got out what you put into it. I put in a "B" effort, and I earned a B. Do your homework, go to class, and seek extra help when you need it, and it'll be a good class for you.

She's a really great teacher. She explains the material clearly yet quickly. The class in general is fairly simple. It's very possible to get over 100% on tests with minimal studying. The finals is made from various homework questions so you basically have the entire final by the end of the quarter. Take her if you can!

She was very helpful in class, if you needed clarification for it, she would answer. Also it was useful to go to her office hours to ask questions or to get answers for the homework, as her quizzes were problems straight off the homework. It is best to do the homework as assigned, as the quizzes are from it and the tests are often quite similar, and if you do not do the homework as you go, it can pile up.

She's chill. She explains the material very straightforward and is easy to follow. She does go kind of fast at times, but she's willing to clarify stuff at the end of class. I'm not sure why others have said her tests are so hard... the problems all come directly from the textbook. Only bummer is that she also teaches at Cuesta and has another job, so she's not very available to meet outside of class. Overall, she's a decent professor for a class that is simple and dry no matter who you take it with. Oh and save your HW cause she puts a lot of exact homework questions on the final.

Professor Michaud is an excellent teacher, probably one of the best I have ever had for a math class. She covers tons of material throughout the course and presents it tremendously. As someone who had never taken calculus coming into her class and hadn't taken math for several years, I would recommend reviewing Algebra coming into the course or it will be easy to fall behind early. While she is a strict grader and has a primarily test-based grade outline, it is tough to get a good grade in the class, but if you are looking to learn the material she's the teacher you want. Be mindful that if taking the 50 minute lecture section tests are difficult with the time-constraint and you need to work quickly.

I learned that if I were to take up hunting, I should shoot deer, not bears, because a bear will hunt me back if I successfully wound it. Fascinating! I didnt know that the key to production and operations management was so brutally simple!
