This professor is terrible. He will spend an hour lecture teaching you how to bond two hydrogens to an oxygen, yet he never goes over any of the in depth calculations that are on the test. After getting a C on my first mid term I enrolled in a supplemental workshop to get more practice and problems to work on... but, I received an even worse grade on the next mid term. I did all of the assigned practice problems, read every chapter and even took notes. I never missed a lecture. The tests are ridiculous and I hear more "Oh my gods" and "holy shit"s after every test than anything. I wrote him an email once and, although he clarified what I had a question about, he managed to do so sarcastically, making fun of a term I accidently misused (it was obvious what I was talking about). Be wise... don't take this teacher if you can help yourself. Terrible experience to have as a first quarter freshmen.

Dr. Pizzini fails in many areas. Most notably in his ability to relay important information to students (which is what I thought the definition of teaching was). His tests are the most unreasonable pieces of S&#@ I\'ve encountered in all my years of schooling. He spends lecture time on irrelevant and easy material and hangs you out to dry on the hard stuff.

Dr. Pizzini was a really good professor. I don\'t know why he had such a low rating. He presented the material clearly and his tests were fair. I had him for lecture and lab and in both and he was very helpful in clarifying any confusing material. The chemistry series are hard, there is no way around that. The non programmable calculators suck when you have to do the quadratic formula by hand so make sure you are comfortable with math, but that is required by everyone.
