Professor Michaud is a good professor who is very businesslike. She collects homework whenever she feels like it, but you should do it anyway. She's very good at explaining things in a clear and easy to understand way, however if a student should happen to not understand, she can be somewhat harsh and often the student doesn't understand any better by the time she's finished explaining. Her tests and quezzes are reasonable and she provides extra credit. She's not the best teacher I've ever had and also not the worst. She gets the job done.

Rebecca\'s Teaching methods and clear yet concise explanation of the material was a 100% beneficial in my education. The straightforward grading policies are not curved but she hands out plenty of extra to anyone who\'s not slacking off or missing class. The homework load was NOT heavy as others have said! I personally was in a study session with other 118 students and saw the insane homework problems they were given. Rebecca doesn\'t BS her students with pointless and random questions. Everything she has taught in class I will use, if not already. Finally, her tests are based on homework, which if you do will not be a problem. The people who didn\'t do the homework - Myself Included - didn\'t do well on the final! Simple yet Awesome! That is everything you\'ll need to know about Rebbecca except one very important note. Rebecca Michuad is one of the most fun and adept professors I\'ve ever had and would recommend her to all my friends. This is an opportunity you don\'t want to miss you you get the chance.

I personally found 118 to be easy, since i had come into college already having taken Calculus..and this is a pre -calc class. But whether or not you find the material to be challenging or simple, she is an undeniably good teacher. She goes at a pace that even the ...not-so-quick students (just in regard to this subject!!) ...can understand. Sometimes I found it to be a little annoying, just because she would say, \"does everybody understand?\", and some people would still ask her to repeat...but I guess that\'s a good thing. She is very approachable, takes all and any questions, and grades fairly. Standard, good teacher. I had her during fall quarter so i can\'t exactly recall her examination schedule...but there were weekly quizzes which were simple if you just paid attention in class. great teacher.

Awesome teacher! She explains everything and always answers questions. She gives the perfect amount of homework: enough to make sure you know what you're doing, but no too much to where it's some huge time consuming task.

Michaud is great. I'm not very good at math, but Michaud made things simple and clear for me and I did well on quizzes and tests. Overall I got all B's, one A, and one C on quizzes and tests. She is everything you could want in a math professor for this class. She goes at a fair pace and always asks the class if anyone needs clarifications, which definitely makes asking questions less intimidating. She is also very helpful in answering specific questions after class. The homework load is fair, and she doesn't collect it every class, so you sometimes have extra time to do the homework. She picks five questions from the homework to grade, so you should do it all; she also drops your lowest homework assignment. The tests are fair as well. For me, her class was one of those things where you got out what you put into it. I put in a "B" effort, and I earned a B. Do your homework, go to class, and seek extra help when you need it, and it'll be a good class for you.

Rebecca is the shit! One of the best math teachers I have ever had. She puts math into plain english and I was never once confused in her class. She moves at a good pace and will slow down and explain things better if someone asks a question. You get 2 midterms and a final and have a quiz on the homework every thursday. The quizzes get annoying but considering all the problems on them are straight out of the homework, and all the problems on the final are straight from the homework, they keep you on the right track to pass the class. She has office hours mon-thurs so there is always time to get help and she is always willing to help. There is no reason you should do badly in this class, she makes it so easy

She was an awesome professor. Very clear, and was happy to answer any questions. There are quizzes every week, but she doesn\'t collect or grade the hw. Then there are 2 midterms and a final. TAKE HER!!!
