Do not take this professor. Some students might be excited because he gave all of us an A- on our final, but that was because he did not follow through on printing enough exams (just one of his many mishaps throughout the quarter). To sum it up, here were the issues: He did not care about his students whatsoever, would not show up for office hours, was unclear about his grading standards, and the class average for our midterm was a D...what does that tell you? Overall, please do not take him. It is neither an easy A nor an interesting lecture at all.

Lepore is probably the worst professor I've had at cal poly. I felt like I was back in elementary school in his class. It was sooo slow. He is young and new and seems uncomfortable being the center of attention. His test are so long to the point where i would just randomly fill in the last 15 questions because i was too exhausted to read anymore. Homework is online through aplia so the questions online are different than his test questions. He curves a lot though. His classes are unbearable to sit through...i was always very ancy through them and i am a pretty relaxed person. There are no quizzes and the hw is pretty frustrating because it's multi choice and graded. I felt like i did't try very hard in this class just because i didn't respect him as a qualified professor. He is also dyslexic so his writing is hard to understand. It's easy to get an A in this class if you can motivate yourself to try, but i don't recommend taking him.

This class is a load of BS. Lepore is terrible. He doesn\'t care about his students and just wants to leave as soon as possible. Although I can\'t really complain because I didn\'t learn anything anyway. Myeconlab is a joke too.. I\'m sorry that he doesn\'t care about it but if he taught us it really wouldn\'t have been that hard. Every week we took those stupid quizzes that he didn\'t even come close to preparing us for. All that was necessary to answer 2/3 of the questions was a formula which he didn\'t give us. I hated his class, the only saving grace was that we got out early. I had no idea what any of his graph\'s meant, I just wrote them down while trying my hardest not to fall asleep. Go to the tutor. She is better at explaining than he is. I would have failed without her. I\'d say don\'t take him but it sounds like every econ teacher sucks so I guess all I can tell you is choose your poison? It was a waste of my life considering that I learned absolutely NOTHING, but we got out like an hour early everyday so...? What a waste of tuition..

his lectures are straight forward but can get a little messy. one easy midterm and online quizes (which you can retake for better grades). but the final was unexpectedly HARD. he stands in the way of the notes on the board so you cant see. kind of treats you like your dumb if you asks questions.

He is a nice guy but unfortunately cant teach Econ that well. He rambles on and on really quickly thinking you are following it all. His notes on the board are a colored mess! and he is dyslexics which he will tell you half way through the quarter. His graphs are worthless! You scribble the notes down as fast as you can to get them down and then learn that they are of no help. The my econ lab quizzes are super hard cuz he doesnt teach the equations or practice problems in class. he will only lecture on the general concept. One thing to do is to take the workshop! the girl is a life saver!! she was the only reason why i passed the class! she should be the teacher not him! and his curves arent that great. its basically the highest grade sets the curve. O and he looks like Mr.Incredible from the Incredible Disney movie. and he will stand in front of the board and watch lean every way to see the notes. sit in the middle/front of the class. and he is never at his office hours. and He will never respond to your emails! i sent him many many emails and never once a response! my advice dont take him unless you are quick learner and get econ quickly! but do take the workshop!

jason lepore is a terrible professor. his econ lectures are by far the worst thing ive ever sat through. the only good thing about him is that he is a really smart guy. however, he just cant teach to save his life. his notes suck and dont many any sense because he is dyslexic. his midterms dont relate to his notes or study material that he provided. his textbook sucks and is dense and hard to read and the final kicked my ass even though i studied a ton

During this entire quarter all I could think about was how this professor reminded me of that small little dog that runs through the back of scene 23 in The Incredibles by Pixar. Seriously, if you look it up you will only be able to see it...
