This class can be kind of boring. If you are a TRANSFER and taking it, have fun, it is a freshman class. They need to have one geared towards transfers. I guess you can get out of it, but I did not know that. Pretty much go to class and dont forget to take the quizes. I hated the 7 habits assignment, which Thulin was obsessed with. I was a group leader and half my group dropped the class without telling me, so last minute I had to write their parts. They also really discourage you from being prevet, so if you are dont listen, and if you arent listen. He really did not do much during the class because he was assisting Mr. Hall. I think that he could be a good teacher.

This class was a joke. Although I am not an animal science major, it was ALL outside presenters and I didn't learn anything. I also took another 101 class in which I learned about marketing and useful business stuff. None of which this class offers. If you aren't an animal science major, don't take it. Although there was few homework assignments and a few quizzes, it was a boring class. The instructors barely taught and they were both very inconsiderate of the non-ASCI major kids in the class.

I\'m not sure if he even teaches other classes? I think he\'s just the department head, but either way I learned close to nothing in this class. The focus is showing freshmen all the opportunities that are available in the animal science major, like jobs or going to grad school. All you do is listen to guest speakers. He seemed enthusiastic each time he talked to us, but he repeated himself a lot (\"career toolkit\"). He\'s a very nice guy though, very approachable. If you\'re an Animal Science freshman you have to take the class anyway; if you\'re not then don\'t take it.

Dr. Thulin is a very nice guy; you can tell he really cares about the animal science department. But this course can be boring and there's nothing they can really do to change that. It's mostly presenters to talk about the different careers in the industry and some are interesting. All you need to do is go to class and do a few quizzes and projects. Easy credit.
