Good teacher, really easy quizzes and tests. The lecture was generally easy to understand but it was basically a refersher for me ( i took Stats in high school too). I think if you took stats in high school this class is really easy, if you didnt you might have a little trouble with it. But I would definately recommend it!

Difficult teacher.Did not give instructions very well. Do not take him if you want a good grade

Professor Rees is a very very helpful and knowledgeable teacher. He presents the material clearly, getting right to the point and not wasting your time with pointless definitions or explanations. He uses PowerPoints everyday which he posts online along with homework problems that you don't have to turn it. He does example problems with every section, which really helps drive the concepts into your head. He does not do attendance, has a few low-point and very simple quizzes, his test are straightforward and he is ALWAYS willing to answer questions and to meet with you if you need help. He is pretty laid back.. i had him from 7-9am and he started class at 7:40 everyday and usually ended about 20 minutes early. If you needed extra help, he was there at 7:10 to help you and would stay after if your needed it. He is a very prompt grader also, you took a test/quiz and you r grade would be posted that same day. Overall he is a great teacher, I would definitely recommend him! :)

Rees is freakin sweeet!! he let us out about 20-45 minutes early every day (and yes. the class is only 50 minutes). the class consists of about 4-5 quizzes (15%), 3 midterms (20% each), and a final (25%). the midterms and final are open note which takes the class from easy to easier!! what i love about rees is that he gets to the point. he doesn't stretch out the lecture going over the material over and over again. then again....i took stats in high school and i found all the material really easy. he showed us the grades from fall quarter and about 80% of the students got an A or a B. he doesn't do minuses or plus's with his grading either which i really like. overall, this is an EASY ge class to take and i highly recommend it if your looking to have a stress-free class. rees also cares about his students and makes himself available after his lecture and in office hours. he also gave a makeup exam for one of the midterms for those who wanted one. TAKE REES!!!
