Rice, Bob  

I really like Dr. Rice. He knows his stuff and in up beat when he teaches it. The is really Fair when he grades. Straight forward tests. If you get to know the plants in lab you should be ok in lecture. The hardest part is recognizing the plants on the midterm and final because there are so many you have to know. Overall he is a great professor and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Rice is a very interesting professor. He has traveled all over the world (mainly Africa and South America) helping farmers with sustainable farming techniques. The class was set up around 2 tests and a large case study. The case study was fun but the final was SUPER HARD. The lab/activity section of the class is a breeze, you make power points and go on field trips. All in all, take this class if you want to learn about tropical fruit.
