Dr. Koustos is a great teacher who is easy to understand. The tests are really big picture concepts, the book is a waste of money, I never opened mine. The homework assignments are really easy as long as you start them early. Overall, the class is really interesting and the part that Dr. Peterson teaches is the hardest, he is a little more unclear. Definitely, a good class though.

I wouldn't recommend taking Koutsos for any classes. She is arrogant and doesn't care whether or not her students are learning anything. She is all about her research and making a name for herself. Apparently she has forgotten that we are the one's dishing out good money here. If you really want to learn something about poultry take Dr. Spiller. He is very knowledgeable about the subject matter and has actual real industry experiences to share with his students. He actually knows more about the subject than Dr. Koutsos pretends to know. Dr. Koutsos you failed!

Listen people. Dr. Liz is one of the best teachers on campus. She goes beyond the duties of being a teacher to being a friend. IF you need help with a resume...she spices it so well...you get the job or recommendation. I admit. Before I took her class, I was intimiidated by her. But i got over that fear and sincerely appreciate her for all her guest speakers in the niche market of poultry. Because of her and PM 330, this class has opened my eyes to new opportunties. Thank you.

This was a vet. immunology class that I had to take for a poultry science minor. Dr. Koutsos is easy to get along with and generally very receptive to students and their needs. The class was abit hard to stay up with, all notes are on powerpoint and posted on blackboard. Occasionally I found myself without enough materials for study and lab reports which made the class somewhat difficult. Take the class though, highly informative and Dr. Koutsos is really cool.

Alright all you hippies......ya don't take koutsos if you're a hippie. She is a incredibly intelligent prof that is up to date with her material. The tests are based right off the powerpoint presentations. I bought the book but it was not neccessary. The people that bag on her must be retarded, because I missed class every week and still got a high B.

Um, this is a rather challenging class if you're not super interested in it already... esp the material leading up to the first test. But overall, it's really interesting, and Dr. Koutsos brings in guest lectures to make it fun and whatnot. The lectures are done in powerpoint, which is awesome, and there's even a couple funny animations. She likes to give quizes, but they're not hard. She, herself, is interesting, friendly, and really intelligent. She's also helpful in office hours. She knows a lot about the topic, and is willing to look for whatever answers she might not have off the top of her head. So yeah, I thought this class was great, and I definitly understood everything better after I took it.
