Take 257 with Hillary while you have the chance; she's not going to be here forever, and this is your only chance to have an ARCE course taught by a cripplingly gorgeous instructor. I'm in love . . . . . oh, right--the class. Its pretty easy, so you shouldn't need the book. Hillary goes over your quizzes with you, meaning you get to go over any areas you having trouble in. Grading is generous. Top notch.

this class was a great introduction to autocad. i had never even seen autocad before and i now know how to use autocad very well. this class was super valuable to my education because autocad is used in so many other classes and i could not imagine going through the arce program without having learned autocad. i took cm 211 at the same time as arce 257 and it was great to be learning how autocad works in arce 257 and being able to apply those skills in cm 211. having these two classes combined into one would be quite confusing. the separate class solely to LEARN how autocad works was great. awesome class

This was a great class and Hillary Lynne really presented the material well. I had previously taken two semesters of AutoCAD at my Junior College and I still got a lot out of 257. Not only was it a great resource to refresh my memory but I also learned more in-depth functionality of CAD and I am certainly more comfortable using it. I have also recommended the class to two friends(an ARCH and CE) and they both loved it. Take ARCE 257 with Hillary while you still can, there's no better CAD instructor at Poly.
