Petrela is an great teacher! She trys really hard to get everyone to understand the information and in my class she curved all the tests. She doesn't give too much homework and will usually give you more time if you tell her you need it. She cares about her students and will know your name by the end of the quarter. Petrela class is definetly not one that you will want to dicth everyday, she trys to make it fun espeically if you try as well.

Eivis is such a cool gal, classwork was not heavy, and she is very funny professor. If you do not try to get her as a teacher, you're an idiot. She even hooks it with grades.

A MUST TAKE CLASS. You really don't need the book becuase she teaches everything in her lectures, but if you need the book I guess you can buy it. She has the occasional pop quiz for attendance, but she is quite possibly one of the coolest teachers. She can relate really esay to her students and it is not hard to do very well in her class. If you do not take this class I would call you an idiot. A great and fun class that I highly suggest. PS she has the coolest accent.

I absolutely loved Petrela. I would highly recommend her as a teacher. You don't really need the course text because her lecture notes are so good and you can print them right off blackboard. She is really good at helping students if they don't understand. She teaches at a slow pace so its not hard to keep up. She is really funny and her accent is tight. The homework assignments help with the tests which in themselves are not very difficult. If you can get her, sign up.

Eivis was a very nice, kind lady, but for the hour and a half I spent in her class three days a week I wanted to throw myself out the window the majority of the time. She tones all of econ down to pizza, ice cream, and pepsi, which works for little kids, but made me feel incredibly stupid. the majority of our class didnt understand anything, but we all passed with good grades bacuse she does curve everything. She does curve, and all her lectures are online in powerpoint form, but I really wouldn't recomend her.

OK so I dont know where to start with Spring Quater AGB 212 with Petrela...Ok soo she somehow ended up making a mistake on blackboard and posted all (the complete question/answer) of midterm one one the blackboard, which the whole entire class printed out before the midterm and the test was the same exact thing!! OK then she ended up losing 2 quizes, and also she posted the answers to the homework and quizes on blackboard before it was due numrous of time!! I would take her class again, but I would also be checking her black board 24/7...hopeing she messes up again!! HAHA!! Also she drops the lowest quiz score and curves at the end. Also somehow the class avergae on the final was 109% meaning that she probably messed up putting the possible points in the correct spot..she probably forgot to add it correctly or something...becasue thats crazy!! I would highly recommend taking her class again....easy easy A!!!

I thought Eivis was a really bad teacher!!! The worst I've had so far...and I am not trying to be mean, just trying to be honest. She would mix up her words making her explanations really hard to understand. Her grading system was hard to figure out because everything was weighted different and worth huge amounts of points. A midterm worth over 1,000 points! She was just bad at explaning and teaching. For one of the homeworks she assigned had material we hadn't gone over. When asked in class she stated we did go over and we needed to figure out how to do it. When we all struggled through it to figure it out...we turned it in and she said she posted the wrong homework...handed back this homework that took forever to figure out and told us the right homework was posted and due the next class! She is horrible...avoid her...trust me!

Wow....where to begin! this woman Is awesome! I dont understand how anyone can not like her. Shes a very sweet lady who cares a ton about her students. I am one of those people where econ never really clicked, but still managed to get an A. The first test I failed and got really discouraged but after I told her how hard I was working she really helped. Make sure you show her you are working hard for the grade. P.S. No matter what you go into the final with, you will come out with an A! She curves it sooo much that the class avg was a 105%

She is a nice person...but she is the reason I switched my major. She can't teach, I recomend that you avoid her, wait a quarter to take this class with someone else.

Not the greatest teacher if you really want to learn a lot. However she is very sweet, lets you out early every day, and curves! Take her if you want an easy class

If you don't love Qenani, there is something wrong with you. She comes in everyday with a good attitude. This class is not hard, just show up there is only in class work and barely any homework. The tests are challenging, but are exactly what she has taught you in class its just challenging material to get perfect each time. She gives a lot of points for participation so show up, be active in class and you will do fine.

Always a joy to enroll in one of Qenani's courses. She treats everyone as if they were her own. If you are having a hard time with any of the material, just go to her office hours and your guaranteed to do well in the class

Eivis is a good professor... for freshmen taking 212 who need to be babied. Other than that she is a complete idiot. 401 was the biggest joke with her teaching it. She has no clue about anything in the real world but is good at regurgitating the BS from the texts. She is a total joke (she told someone in our class who was having trouble writing a paper to "go on google, type what you are looking for, cut and paste, and there's your paper"). Is she an easy grader? Absolutely. Could an orangutan get an A? Yes. Do you gain anything from the course? No. Is it a waste of time with her at the helm? Yes.

one word...NO!!! Don't take ANY classes with this rotten HAG. She plays favorites and will embarass you in front of everyone if you miss a couple classes or come late. Very unprofessional and has the ugliest most annoying sounding middle eastern accent I've ever heard...definitely not something you wanna hear at 8am! Take Pompa instead b/cuz you won't learn a damn thing in this woman's class. Complete waste of time. Nonetheless, I don't know how she was hired into the Agribusiness department because she is the shittiest most incompetent professor I have ever had...PERIOD. !!!!>>>>>AVOID<<<<<!!!!!!

this lady was garbage. She is a complete idiot who is also lazy. At the beginning of the quarter she kicked out 4 kids who were 2 credits shy of holding sr standing (which is a pre-req). Some kid bitched at her about taking bowling twice and he could have got in, she replied with a yes. She then suggested he try another section. The best part was there were like 15 open seats. Personifies lazy european.

I really enjoyed 401 with Petrela, in fact both classes with her have been my favorites. The material is somewhat boring, HR stuff but her lectures were interesting and she brought in good speakers. The class load is light with a presentation, midterm and 2 papers and a final paper. She is quite intelligent and really openminded (I really don't get the derogatory comments...) and creates a laid back class atmosphere. But most of all is is one really nice, kind lady! Sign her up if you can.

If you can avoid taking this teacher do. She is a terrible teacher. She has difficulty explaining information. During your presentation she will cut you off in the middle of a sentence and heckle you in front of the whole class. She reschedules midterms and sends out a notice of information two hours before a midterm. TERRIBLE TEACHER!!!!!

She's a nice lady, but wow, she doesn't really know what she's talking about. The class is boring as hell, which thankfully she recognizes and you often get out of class early. She's not THAT hard to understand, she just doesn't give the greatest directions. The final project is just....horrible. You really have no idea what the hell you're supposed to be doing. AND she makes you do/listen to these awful class presentations that i think i fell asleep during almost every time. The tests were also, HORRIBLE. sooooo much information and she doesn't really curve it! I think my class did sooo badly, that she curved it a little, but even with the curve, i still did terrible.I think she's the only one who teaches this class, so she may be unavoidable, unfortunately.

This class is quite hard as it has lots of stats. However Petrella makes it enjoyable. she is great to explain all the stats and does not mind going above and beyond till you get it. Hit her office hours if you need as she will help you understand all the material. the class would have been terribly painful with someone else. HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT!

She is one of the MOST helpful professors that I have met! Very knowledgeable and respectful towards students. Similar to Marianne Wolf, great in class and a wonderful advisor. Take her anytime!

Petrela is a good teacher and a wonderful person. She's truly kind and she actually cares for her students. She doesn't make you buy the book, and in fact explains things wonderfully much clearly than the book. The midterms were clear and straightforward like the problem sets covered in the class, but the final was real hard! Other than that she is laid back and cool and fun! Petrela rocks!

Dr. Qenani is very passionate about student success and will help you do your absolute best. This course was very difficult and requires a high level of creativity, self-starting, and Excel. Definitely buy the book and take notes on it. She usually posts answer keys for HWs and will go over the midterms.
