The worst professor I could ever imagine. Was about half an hour late to every lab. Showed up unprepared for class. Didn't even know what the lab was. He would just stand there and say "Do the lab", then leave to run errands. If you ask him a question, he will just make you feel stupid and mess up your circuit and blame it on faulty equipment. In fact the only faulty equipment in the lab is between his ears. He is very arrogant. He should be fired. Don't take Semaida under and circumstances.

I second that remark. So right, if you take him, don't bother to go to his office hours, because he'll tell you you're stupid and then just look up the answer on the internet because he doesn't know. Oh, and did I menition he was stupid.

Semaida is a disgrace to the Electrical Engineering department. He doesn't teach you anything and didn't even grade or hand back the labs. He is either over half an hour late or doesn't show up at all. His attitude towards students is extremely abrasive. He doesn't come to lab prepared and doesn't bother to even read the labs himself. He never gives any kind of a lecture at the beginning of lab the way that other EE instructors do. Don't bother to ask him any questions about what is going on or how to do something. He is a total blundering idiot!!! He didn't give us any heads up on how to study for the final exam either. It was extremely hard probably because I didn't learn anything at all in lab the entire quarter. Semaida really needs to be fired! He totally sucks as an instructor. If there was a grade lower than zero, I'd give it to him. Do yourself a huge favor and don't sign up for this guys class. If you do, you will be very, very sorry. Semaida is a sour grape that doesn't care about students one iota. His first name should have been Richard.
