Schroeder, Nicole  

Nicole is a really sweet and helpful grad student. She really does love bio and her enthusiasm and knowledge actually makes the three hour lab go by really fast. she always tried to make everything as time efficient as possible so we could get out early, and we usually did. better yet, she made us study guides before each test, which no other lab teachers did, and was available for extra help a lot so we could succeed. during lab, she always got really excited about the stuff we'd learn and wasn't intimidating at all when it came to asking questions and help. if you can chose her for a bio lab teacher, definitely do!

I had a pretty good time in the lab, and it wasn't too hard. The biggest mistake some people made (I thought) was not taking it too seriously - but the lab is a pretty big part of the entire class grade. If you really want to get a good grade, you should basically memorize the lab manual. Nicole makes the lab a little more fun, and she always prepared study guides for us (something that none of the other teachers did, as far as I know).

Nicole was an awesome lab teacher! I had the lab from 7 to 10 at night which normally would have completely sucked, but Nicole made the night lab bearable. She always had tons of energy and was actually excited to be teaching us about biology. The lab of course was still very difficult but Nicole was very encouraging and helpful in and out of office hours. I highly recommend her!! Good luck with the class!

i had her for econ, she was terrible. She was literally unable to present any material clearly. On the quizzes, and midterms she gives problems that you have never seen or done before and expects you to know how to do them. She has no idea how to relate the class notes to the test. She fails to make anything clear. i would not recommend taking her for econ.
