Missie Hobson is such a sweet lady! She really loves students and really loves to teach. This class is basic knowledge of public relations. Her lectures are interesting and she usually lets you out early! There are weekly quizzes, pretty much just on the lecture and the reading- pretty simple. There are two 2-page papers, a midterm, and a final. She gives you a very detailed outline for the tests which makes it impossible not to get a B or above.

I would have to say this is the best class i have taken. Missie is the coolest professor. The topics in class were very fun. The papers were easy and actually kept interest. 2 2-3 page papers and a final plan. Midterm and final were cake if you go to class and review. Take Missie! Class was probably at the worst time 5:40-6:30 but everyday was worth it because of the topics we covered. Highly recommended.

She was a nice lady, but for the students who are struggling she really doesn't help you figure out what to do to achieve the desired grade. She grades on a down ward curve and grades you in comparison to evrybody else instead of grading you on personal progress. In a class like that, I think you should be graded on a personal basis. I put in a lot of effort which proved to be worthless. I really didn't learn anything, not because I didn't get the grade I wanted, but because I don't know what I was lacking to make my paper as opposed to everybody else. She'd look at my paper anf give me pointers how to improve my paper. But, other than that all she did is tell me to look at other people's papers instead of taking a long hard look at my paper and telling me what I needed to turn my paper into an a paper. I felt that when I put the time in the least a teacher could dom is help me figure out hoe to improve my grade on my papers.

I learned that if I were to take up hunting, I should shoot deer, not bears, because a bear will hunt me back if I successfully wound it. Fascinating! I didnt know that the key to production and operations management was so brutally simple!
