His enthusiasm is contagious. His multiple choice test questions consist of three ridiculous answers and then one obvious right answer. TAKE HIS CLASS!

BEST TEACHER AT POLY!! So entertaining and one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Interesting class and Macro makes it even better. Plus the class was pretty darn easy.

Macro is hands down the best professor at Cal Poly. He is hilarious. There are 10 quizzes which consist of two legitimate questions and three questions he gives to you. The final is a joke and the term paper is extremely easy. This class is an easy A. Even if you're not a GrC major you should take this class just to listen to Macro.

Macro is AWESOME. This was my first ever class at Cal Poly and he made me love it. I was unsure about my major but he gives such a good overview of everything that I fell in love with it. I have also never laughed so hard in a class, he makes you want to come to class even though it's easy enough that you could probably pass if you only went half the time.

If you're a GrC major, you will definitely find this class interesting and a great intro class for your major. If you're not in the major, try to take this class fall quarter rather than spring quarter. I took it in the spring with a bunch of graduating seniors and by the end of the quarter, less than half of the class showed up for lectures. The material was a little dry for me, but that's because i didn't turn out to be very interested in GrC. Like I said though, If you're in the major, you will most likely find the material very interesting, and Macro is super into-it during lecture which makes it mush easier to pay attention and understand.

Ken is awesome. Even though this class was at 7:40 am, it was easily my favorite class this quarter because he is just the greatest. The class consists of about 12 quizzes, a term paper, and a final. Most of the quizzes are extremely easy; there are a few that are kind of out of nowhere, but they won't hurt your grade. You can write about whatever you want for the term paper, as long as it somewhat relates to GrC, and the final is exactly what was on the study guide. The textbook is not necessary, but he says it will be good to have for later GrC classes. Overall, Ken makes being a GrC geek cool.

Ken Macro is probably the most amusing teacher at Poly. I taken him for 472 and 324, and he's just a crack-up. Im pretty sure he's one of the very few professors who can get away with acting stupid in class. He just makes everything funny and it really does help you pay attention in class. He does talk a bit fast(espresso story!!!lol!) and does run through his notes really really fast, but everything is posted online, and all you need to do is read and have the notes and your fine. I go to his lectures because I found it very entertaining.

Macro is THE best! He made me want to come to class! The grading is very fair and you'll be sure to get a good grade if you at least have a general understanding of the subject. There was next to no homework (just the lab notebook and two small assignments) and you can get by without doing the reading. Take him!! Note: This is the 2nd time I've taken one of his classes and this is the 2nd time I've gotten an A.

Macro made binding, finishing, and distribution as exciting as it could possibly get. He thinks he's extremely funny, and sometimes he actually IS. He posts his PowerPoint presentations on Blackboard and if you just go over the slides and semi pay attention in lecture, you'll do fine on the midterm and final. Your grade is based on lab projects, lab attendence, 2 lecture assignments [which are ridiculously easy], a midterm, and a final. You spend half of lecture passing around examples [aka his junk mail], and he lets you out early of a 50 minute class, but you still learn a lot. Take him!... not that you really have a choice.

Ken is a great teacher. He isnt just there to teach you can tell he loves his job. He is the type of teacher who is interested in what you want to do and is going to help you attain that goal. He will be a teacher I look back upon and say that he helped me get where I am someday. He is funny and makes class go by fast. He does everything by powerpoint and you dont need to go to class, but he is entertaining and its only and hour. He is totally sarcastic and he will tease everyone but he can take teasing back. I would recommend everyone take him. I dont know anyone who doesnt like him. We Love Ken!

Macro is a very energetic and entertaining professor. He sincerely cares about his students and takes the time to help you out during class or office hours. His lectures are sometimes long, but he keeps it funny. If you study, then it is pretty easy to get an A.

Best professor at Cal Poly. If you go to class, you\'ll understand everything. I bought the book for 324, I wouldn\'t do it again. He gives you all the materials so save your money. A court reporter probably couldn\'t keep up with him, and he is HILARIOUS.

The teacher was hilarious and passionate about the material. All the material from lecture is posted on blackboard. However, he makes it so interesting and fun that you end up wanting to go to lecture. The workload is pretty light and the midterm and final were fairly easy. The book has a lot of important information, but it\'s not necessary to pass the course. There are a few projects. They\'re all pretty easy but the lab report takes time. Don\'t leave it to the last minute. Overall, great class and professor.

Ken Macro is a great teacher. He's pretty organized because he presents all his lecture format. Also, since this was a sales class, to provide the class with a more professional view of what a sales job would be like, he used a lot of the lecture time to bring in guest speakers and used lab for his own lecture. Overall, Macro is just a really fun teacher to have. He tells stories of his own sales experience and makes it a lot more fun than what you think a sales and management class would be.

Ken is an awesome teacher, he made a subject that seemed like it was gonna be a drag a lot of fun. He is a crack up, 90% of the lectures i've been to at cal poly made me want to take a nap, Macro is off the wall, he will crack you up and keep you interested. Easy A if you go to class and give it a little effort. no one on earth would dare give ken a bad rating, everyone who has had him knows he is probably the most exciting teacher at cal poly.

Macro is awesome, and very funny!! He definitely had my attention every class, and its enough fun that you really dont want to ditch class. He just talks and talk and it never ends, but very entertaining. The class consists of a midterm and final and a Marketing Project and Sales pitch. The marketing part if fun and he's not a super picky grader, just happy that you put effort into the project and then the sales pitch was fun too. Everyone in my class was very nervous about the selling part of the lab but Macro makes the environment very confortable. Good teacher!! I wish he taught more classes than he does so I could take him more often

Even if you're not a GrC major, you should at least try to take one of Macro's classes. I've laughed more during his lectures then during some comedy shows. Very smart guy and very good at getting his students to learn the material.

Macro is a fun teacher! Even though we only met for an hour a week for 337, he still made it enjoyable no matter how boring the information he had to deliver was. I dont mind that UGS is a requirement for GrC-ers simply because hes so funny!

What the guy/gal below said. Amen. I too took this class and have long since graduated from Poly, but I was cruising Poly Ratings for a kick and thought that I should pipe in and let you know how much of a joke this prof is.
