Shroyer, Robin  

The absolute best chem. lab teacher I have had yet (I have had Keeling). Ochem lab was fun to go to every Thursday. I would recommend taking her since she is fun, and helps you with everything. Even gives personal stories to help you remember. I liked her so much I am taking her again but this time for BioChem

Shroyer is a great instructor. She explains all the labs and only has you answer questions that are relevant. I only wish I could've have gotten her for my biochem lab.

She is an amazing teacher. take her if you can. her quizzes are tricky bc some of the question are true or false but she is such a great teacher.

She is sooo nice. Take her if you can. Always willing and offers to help!

Dr. Shroyer is awesome! I highly recommend her as a lab instructor for O-Chem. She was a veterinarian, and understands what will actually be useful for students in the future and what we will not need to know. We never had to take lab reports home, they are easy to finish in the 3 hours. It would be hard to earn an A, but almost everyone gets a B.

Good teacher but if you are stuck on the wrong side of her backwards curve then watch out, youre screwed.

Dr. Shroyer is awesome! I wish I took her for CHEM 312 lab too... She explains every lab thoroughly and basically answers the questions at the end of each lab for you. She doesn't collect your lab manual at all, and grades pretty fairly. Robin gives a 4 point quiz at the beginning of every lab which is a drag, but the lab final is open lab book, so take good notes in that and not the lab manual. Dr. Shroyer kept the lab at a casual setting and told us we could get coffee during the slow times and turned on the radio while we did the experiments. I wish she'd teach lecture too because Clemens sucked.
