Krishnan is an animated, nutty, and enthusiastic guy that makes this class fun and entertaining to take. He does have a quasi-thick Indian accent, but nothing that handicaps the user. The only reason I didn

Dr. Krishnan is so funny. This class wasn't so bad. For the exams make sure you do the practice questions from his website he puts them directly on the tests. If he thinks you have done poorly on a test he will make sure you go to his office hours. Thre is a group project you have to do at the end, not too bad, NO FINAL!! Oh, lecture can get pretty boring but he tells funny jokes and does odd things that make everyone laugh.

Unfortunately, Dr. Krishnan is no longer teaching. But he is an awesome instructor and faculty member, if you ever have the chance to meet him. His passion for teaching is alive in the classroom, as he makes his lectures very entertaining. The class consisted of two midterms, a group project, and a final exam. Dr. Krishnan requires class participation, so be prepared to speak up because he will go around the class and talk to everyone. He is very helpful during his office hours and really wants you to achieve in the class. He cares for the students and wants you to earn a good grade. Take his class seriously and you will do well.

OK, heres the deal on Krishnan. He posts studyguide questions online that you MUST be able to answer in order to do well on the tests because he takes some of those questions and uses them in the essay portion of his exams. Come to class and note which topics he covers in class, then go home and read those sections of the book. As far as his lectures go, you won't really learn much, but you still have to go so you know what to study. Luckily, he's a VERY lively instructor who loves his job, and it shows in his lectures. He has his little jokes and side stories to keep you interested. Bottom line: great guy and and entertaining teacher, but there's a pretty decent amount of outside studying to do if you want an A...but it's an easy B class I think.
