George is one of the most down to earth professors on campus. He is a great communicator and gets along well with his students. Although his lectures can drag on, his humor and good will keep the class involved and interested. He is very approachable, honest, and personable.

Geaorge genuinely cares about all of his students. If he's your advisor he will get to know every aspect of your personal life and he gives great advice! His classes can be slow, but his humor and interesting stories make up for it

George is one of the coolest teachers I've had. He's not easy, just a all around good guy. Take him hands down!

George is awsome. He is such a nice guy and so willing to help you out. His lecture is a little boring and the tests are a little long and tuff, but not all that bad. he is a genuine man and extremely nice he deserves to be hired on full time as a professor not just a lecturer

George is a really good teacher and an even better person. He is real and down to earth and is more willing to help than just about any professor I know. He is not easy, just a fair grader who holds student accountable for what the lectures cover. Take any class you can that he teaches, you won't regret it!

George is a really nice guy but the class does gets really annoying and repetitive. He grades too harshly on the projects even though they are not that hard. They class is easy but it just wasnt entertaining with the projects we had to do. The last project was rediculous and we had to use the computer program which no one knew how to use and unfortunatly george wasnt trained in it so it was a mess. The class is okay if you have to take it take it it wont be bad but just long.

A very nice guy. Friendly, understanding, and easy to talk to. The class however is insanely uninteresting and needlessly difficult. It is pure memorization, which is the lowest form of learning. You get 25 plants each week, and have a quiz each week. The quizes are cumulative, roughly half on the previous week's plants and the other half everything before. By the last quiz you basically need to know 200 plants; their scientific name, common name, and the family. Make flashcards, take digital pictures, and go on the walks over and over again. I didn't start doing that until about week 5 so I had 3 weeks of low scores that really brought my grade down. Then about week 8 I fell behind and got another low score. Find a good technique and find it fast because you can't fall behind. The work just keeps piling up.

George is the funniest and most entertaining teacher I've ever had. He was a lot of fun and he made the class material more interesting. Grading policies were pretty fair, but tests were hard. It was easy to make up the grade with other work though. There was an average amount of homework, but it wasn't hard.
