Quinney is the best teacher I have had at Poly. She is interested and passionate about her material and is excited to share it with her students. Her lectures are very interesting and easy to follow which make the tests easier. She gives study guides and review sessions which definitely help in preparing you for the midterms and finals. She is very energetic and funny too. She makes going to class not a chore. I would definitely recommend that anyone who takes Hist 207 to take Quinney. You will learn a lot.

Professor Quinney is an awesome professor. She is real interactive with her students. She provides study guides to prepare you for her exams. She does have a 3 page essay in her class but it is not that bad if you go to her Office Hours. I would strongly recommend that if you take Professor Quinney that you go to her Office Hours because she is very helpful especially with the study guides. She provides an outline before she starts her lecture which makes it easy to follow. She makes the class fun and very enthusiastic about the material she presents.

Prof Quinney is a great teacher, i would definitely recommend her to anybody. She gave me the worst grade I have received so far in a class at Cal Poly, but she is probably my favorite teacher. I never was bored in her class, and i attended every meeting. She also puts up with dumbasses mmmRichardmmm that cannot go two seconds without making some stupid irrelevant comment. Make sure you write a good paper though, your grade is based heavily on it . I got A's on both midterms and got a B- in the class due to the paper and final. But, if you are on a diet stay away from her, she brings candy into class and basically shoves it down your throat.

Professor Quinney has been my favorite teacher here at Cal Poly. She arrives to class very well-prepared and organized. She writes her outline of the lecture on the board, and makes sure everyone knows when she moved onto point 2. She is very imformative, helpful, and personable. Mrs. Quinney's passion for history shines through her character, and her kindness makes the classroom scene comfortable. I highly recommend Quinney to be your history teacher.

Quinney is a great teacher. You learn everything you need to know during the lecture (just take notez). You dont even need to read the textbook. You will be prepared well for all tests because she tells you exactly what you are expected of. There are two books asigned for reading during the term. One of which you write an essay on, the other you write an essay on during the final. One book i liked, the other I didnt even read because the first 10 pages were terribly boring. If i could get an A though, I dont see why you cant. You cant be more of a slacker than me!

Mrs. Quinney is a great professor. She is one of my favorite professors at Cal Poly. She's very very enthusiastic about the material. Her lectures are pretty well organized and she also shows parts of movies in class which went well with the material we were learning at the time. The two scantron midterms were pretty easy and the essay final wasn't bad either. She also assigns two essays for the two books you read. I did my essay on Frederick Douglass and did the Cherokee one for my final. I didn't read all of the Cherokee book and went off of her lecture notes and the text and I did fine on it. Quinney was very approachable during class and in her office hours. She relates well to the class since she's pretty young and tries her best the help everyone fully understand the material. She's very nice, very funny and I highly reccommend her to anyone taking history 207.

Professor Quinney is the best teacher I have ever had! She explains the material very clearly and actually manages to make it interesting. She has a very funny personality and made us laugh every class. She gives study guides for the tests, if you study them, you are guaranteed to do well. We had to write an essay which she graded very fairly and she was always willing to help. Take professor Quinney for any class you can, she is so great!

like everyone else says, she is an awsome teacher. she lays everythign out for you, to understand, she tells you practically all the questions on teh test, she doesnt make you remember dates, except for a very few small things, but she tells you them in advance. you have 2 easy midterms, 1 small paper(3 pages) and a final, that she tells you the questions for, it was like 3 recognition terms, 1 small essay about a book (that she gives you the question to well in advance) and anothr essay but its a little longer, but she tells you the question so its easy, she gives out study guides, that tell all the things you need to know.. also her lectures are great, no one leaves early or falls asleep,, but the best part about her is that she actually understands the students, she understands we have other finals, and other papers due, and she cuts you break when necasary (shes not a push over though, she just wants to help) TAKE HER CLASSES!!!

Professor Quinney is amazing. She is so excited about teaching the history she really holds your attention the whole time she speaks. The grade is based on a midterm, a paper and a final. The final was tough it was three essays, but she gives you a review sheet which is everything you need to study. If you study the review sheets, you can easily pass this class.

Quinney is a fabulous teacher. She is so enthusiastic about history that it trickles down to the students. I was on the edge of my seat for each lecture, she is that exciting. She makes you wanna go home and watch the history channel all day. However, she does expect a lot out of her students. I ended up with a B+, but I probably could have gotten an A if I tried a little harder on the 1st midterm. One of the few classes that I've taken where I learned a lot and enjoyed it. TAKE ANY CLASS SHE TEACHES FOR SURE!

I loved her class. Not only does she teach the subject well and increase interest but above all she cares about her students. She treats everyone with respect and is very helpful with the essays. I really loved it, try and take her class. She is also really nice to crashers. I should know. I tried to crash this class with so many other teachers with no luck, but she signed the add slip right away.

I fully support everything said thus far about Mrs. Quinney. She's young and relates well to the students. She passes out study guides before mid-terms and final that make study a piece of cake. I highly recommend her.
