Don't get me wrong, I think Moreno is a great guy. He's obviously intelligent and his services as a psychoanalyst are clearly invaluable to the patients he works with. The problem is that Moreno does not know how to teach. He is overly general in important areas and overly detailed in irrelevant areas! His tests are confusing, poorly worded, and inaccurately represent class material. Lectures are boring and Moreno does little to help the students prepare for tests (He's more concerned with being viewed as a "cool" teacher, which is evident by the three or four "f-bombs" dropped per class).

i thought this class was crap. he sucks at teaching, and tries so hard to be cool that he loses sight of the material. instead of giving us good information to prepare us for the future, he took up most of his time in class telling sexual stories and cussing all the time. his tests were so poorly worded that it was virtually impossible to figure out what in the hell he was asking. there was sooooo much reading, and you would think he would make up for that by asking sort of general questions, but he doesn't. he asks bullshit questions that make no sense. not to mention, you can only miss like a few points total to get an A in the class. i have never had such trouble trying to figure out a teacher's testing style. he's perv, and a pretty bad professor. my advice: avoid at all costs.

Awesome teacher. He uses various styles of visual aides which is really helpful. He is willing to answer any question and makes sure you get it before moving on. His tests aren't easy, but they are fair and he is very reasonable about raising your score if you talk to him and argue your point reasonably. He has a wonderful sense of humor and makes the lectures very interesting and is easy to approach. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Moreno is really cool. He is funny and his schizophrenia lecture is an experience. His tests are fair and come straight from the lecture, book, and movies he presents. After taking his class I chose him as my advisor. I recommend Dr. Moreno

Moreno is fabulous! He is what Grad School is all about. Don't get me wrong, he is in No way "easy". There is a ton of work and reading to do but he knows his shit. You will walk out of his class having really learned and advanced in the areas of study. He is very wise and has a lot to offer.
