Mayo is a very good professor and his course material is very interesting. There is a lot of reading required for the class and it is not that interesting. The tests are very demanding too because the entire grade is based on the midterm and the final. But overall, every lecture is informative and even entertaining.

Dr. Mayo is a really nice guy and an excellent lecturer. perhaps not as entertaining as Barnes but still a very good lecturer and a pretty funny guy too. There are only 2 tests. Take them both seriously because one bad score out of two can really screw up your grade (as demonstrated by yours truly). I have heard Barnes is the best, but i think Mayo is great too. Not an easy grade to fill the history requirement however. Just don't take it too lightly.

Dr. Mayo usually lectures for the full period. However, he presents info in a way that keeps students interested and entertained.

Dr. Mayo's class is pretty easy. There is a lot of reading involved, but if you keep up, the tests are a breeze. You have your choice between a multiple choice test and an essay. If you choose essay, there are several choices as to what question you want to answer. If you pick multiple choice, you can leave about 5 questions blank and he won't mark you off. Although the lectures tend to be somewhat boring, Dr. Mayo is a good professor.

During this entire quarter all I could think about was how this professor reminded me of that small little dog that runs through the back of scene 23 in The Incredibles by Pixar. Seriously, if you look it up you will only be able to see it...
