Shattuck, Patrick McFarland  

I got block enrolled into Dr. Shattuck's class and was shocked to see he had no polyratings. Anyway, he is a brand new professor to Poly in the English department and this is truly a blessing to the school. He was one of the best English teachers I have ever had. His class was in general, very very easy, but the intangible knowledge I learned from him was wonderful! He believes in peer groups, and really spent a lot of time analyzing passages, essays, and current events in a fun, interesting way. His essays were very well put together, and his grading emphasized creativity and commitment, instead of grammar and other english bullshit. Overall I really recommend Patrick, as he is a hell of a professor and a wonderful and understanding guy. He really helped me adapt to college classes and I can't stress how much I recommend taking him!
