Professor Wilson does know his stuff, but the difficulty of this class is the low amount of time that is given for a professor to answer questions. There are only two one-hour classes per week. I recommend asking him about stuff if you are having difficulties with problems. His grading is quite systematic. This means that he requires you to state your numbers in equations first, then evaluate. He doesn't like seeing only answers on the page. I suppose that's a lot of professors. EE 112 uses an online homework system called "McGraw-Hill Connect". This is a feeble interface that needs improvement. I found it challenging to get answers, because it wouldn't tell me what I was doing wrong. Hope this helps.

For me, all the material in this class was brand new, but to Wilson it was basic so he taught it that way. This was not helpful at all. In class you would hear, "Oh Super node problems are easy!" but then that night you spend 2 hours staring at a problem on the McGraw Hill online homework before you resort to youtube or other people for help. This class should be accompanied by the EE 151 lab or at least include more instruction!

Wilson is a very nice guy! Personally, I did not think he was a great teacher during the actual lecture; However, he is very helpful during office hours! He is very approachable, and has a deep understanding about the concepts he is teaching! So overall, not the best teacher I have ever had, but he is always willing to help you if you are stuck.

Wilson is straightforward and helps you when you need it. He won't always give the answers directly when working in lab but he puts you in the right direction and gives you options to troubleshoot your issues. Overall good lab professor and I would recommend over most other lab instructors in the sometimes lacking EE department.

Wilson is the man. He is a teacher for the students. He just gets it, and if anyone has the stones to say anything bad about wilson they are bitter and is an unreliable source for recommendations. Wilson is a great teacher, he is so smart and will make himself available for you if you need help, literally will drive 30 minutes to campus to answer a question of you really need help. This man is the reason why people learn in Electrical Engineering, he changes the lab to properly support the lecture class so the info is fresh in your mind. Wilson + Prodanvo for the EE 308/EE348 curriculum was the reason i fell in love with EE and i am so grateful for his passion. Thank you professor, you are my favorite EE teacher so far!
